I don't like 3 betting this type of hand out of the blinds. A merged range is far better when we are going to be playing the hands out of position and using a wider value 3 bet range. This type of hand just misses boards far too often and has little semi-bluffing equity.

Im surprised a reg like this doesn't fold the river there. You always have the nut flush or better when you over-shove. Therefore, I don't really like the over-shove as under most circumstances we are only getting called by better.

I dont like that 3bet too , but i know that he folds flops in 3bet pot 90% of the time , so... and about that overshove , im only beat by FH , i beat almost all flushes . This hand was weird for me too , this is not something im doing often , actually im playing like this very rarely , but sometimes you just want make a move. BTW i know you play ZOOM too dont you? So you should know that regs (even those with 2% 3bet after 500 hands show up with like J 9o sometimes) WE ALL 3BET bluff SOMETIMES

What i wanted to say is that we (HERO) sometimes 3bet light , we all do that from time to time.

We dont beat 10 J hearts though.

Oh I see your point. I'm an aggro tard so I 3 bet from the blinds a lot. My point was A9o is a shit hand to do it with imo because we are going to get flatted a good chunk of the time and it plays shit oop.

I'd rather 3 bet a merged range from the blinds than a polarised one.

Yeah it does but we are gonna get flatted so frequently that we need a hand that plays well oop. Meaning that we can barrel multiple streets with equity. A hand like T9s or similar will flop at least a little equity a lot of the time. Whereas Ace rag just gets us in tough spots.

Matty hand is weird, why CO will flat AK/TT+ in the first place?, i usually see fish flating Aces to "trap", but most of the times they shove over the 3b not just raise,
other times do this with swited blockers/SC like (A2-A5/AT/AJ//Kx/68/T8) or middle PPs.

I want to shove tbh.
