Need help getting max value. Think we just call the flop raise as its pretty unlikely the board hits his range? I think hes just trying to steal on the flop. Let me know what you think :)

I think a call is probably best looking in retrospect but i dunno

This is what I was thinking after. Were only getting called by 99+ and 8x and the only hand we want to call is 99.. it was just one hand that stood out when doing some review

Only time for a short check-in, but I have to say:
- No more bad beats ITT -> they are not making us better
- Don't 4bet/fold at 10nl without some insane, sicko read. It's gonna be a leak most of the time since 4betting and then throwing the pot away is pretty expensive. Stacking off AK is gonna be fine most of the time, unless you know the stacking off range of the villain is better than JJ+, AK. If his 5bet range is QQ+, AK, it gets a bit gross obviously, so I'll need to check the math and see how bad this is to even 4bet to begin with depending on his 3bet range. We're okay with him folding to the 4bet btw.
- Forgot my last point cause the above became a rant, sorry :)

About to visit the fam for Christmas. Should be a good time with good food and drink, so I'm pumped. :D Merry Christmas guys, in case I don't stop in before the 26th or so.

I've seen it once on a 25nl table about a month ago when there was about 100 waiting, coz daniel negreanu was playing on it...apart from that, I think 10 is the most I've seen.

Most of the time when a table have so many on the waiting list is because a StarsPro is on the table, but usually not appear on levels so low.

I am at $380 due to MTT's Now :p, I should be at $250 though so if I get to $500 I will just take the money off that I made from MTT's. (Tbh it would be a miracle if I got to $500 lol). The MTT's do seem ALOT softer though. Also I think everyone doing this race to $500 should post etleast 1 hand for analysis here everyday to help if they can.

Ehhh so 4betting light vs a reg villain with a high 3bet% then folding is a leak uh?
An though i agree, with a hand like AK we shouldn't 4b/f most of the time. We all know there are some villains that would only 5bet KK,AA. That's a good reason to 4bet something like 2.2x there raise size.

I'm pretty sure that going all in at 10nl with Q/Q, A/K against 100bb's is a mistake pre-flop. I just did it again, had A/K and the villain turned over K/K, even if he has a pocket pair I'm not even the favorite, so I am only gonna 3 bet A/K from now and if I get 4 bet I am gonna fold it, same with Q/Q if they are 100 BB's deep as I am losing far too much with these hands against A/A and K/K. Also hardly anyone at 10nl 4 bets A/K or Q/Q, they love to call rather than raise.

AKo vs a range of QQ+,AKo,AKs has a eq of ~38%
AKs vs a range of QQ+,AKo,AKs has a eq of ~42%
The average 3bet given 0 limpers should be 9bb's. Add a limper before the original raise and the 3bet goes up to 11-12bb's.
Ok for the sake of argument lets make a total average of all 3bets at 10nl 10bb's which = $1. If you 3bet AKs to 10bb's and then fold you just gave up 1/10th of your stack, and 42% of over all eq vs a range as tight as QQ+,AKo,AKs. Which if you just gii it's close to a over all BE play. And if you add realistic ranges that will call a 5bet shove or make the mistake of folding out there eq share (TT,JJ AQs,etc.) that makes 5betting most villains a most profitable play with AKo and AKs

I think I played it well up to the River where when he shoves his most likely holding is A/K or some other 2 pair/set hand. Only hand I realistically beat is A/J which is gonna be rare that he holds that or A/Q (also rare).

Even at 10nl 6 max, most villains are flat calling Q/Q, A/K 3 bets and won't raise them though. Most of the time villain 4 bets it is gonna be A/A or K/K, very rare for them to actually have lower than that if they are not fish/maniacs. So I could give up 1/10 of my stack or lose 100% of my stack the majority of the time...

Up 3 buy ins last session.

I tried to keep underpairs in the pot with being passive. The turn bet was small so I could shove the river and he would almost have to call and to keep in underpairs and I know heart flush draws were prob getting the right price to call so I should of bet around $3.75 I think.

So right off the bat you have disproved the 4bet at 10nl is KK+ theory? Say it isn't so..;)
Just a little needle, but yeah best way to understand it is to go through your filtered hands.
Called 4bet=True,4bet=True ,,All in pre flop etc...

So right off the bat you have disproved the 4bet at 10nl is KK+ theory? Say it isn't so..;)
Just a little needle, but yeah best way to understand it is to go through your filtered hands.
Called 4bet=True,4bet=True ,,All in pre flop etc...

I meant against regs, I assume that the hands DSV posted are from villains with high VPIPS in which case I would stack off with them. However I have looked through my hand sample and the times I have gone up against regs in all moments PF it's always K/K + it seems, although small sample. I have lots of hands where villains just flat calls Q/Q and A/K.
