God I'm so pissed off after that last session I could literally punch a hole through something. Flopped top set, 7 times...villain stuck in a BARE flush draw (not even nut in 3 cases) and got there every time.

Sigh.... I screwed myself coming in here saying my variance was low other day lol.

It just makes no sense though. There is a difference between mixing it up/ balancing your range and butchering every street.

Sorry I disagree here. If I had moved all in right away he most likely would have folded. I think that because my play was so crazy here he did call. I wanted to get the most from my hand. So you see crazy, I see WTF? she doesn't have the 4, I'll push her off.

And because it made no sense I got the result I wanted.

I like the bet/call on the flop but the min bet is ridiculous, if you want to be small, 1/2 pot is not bad and calling the raise is not a bad option. The turn makes no sense because it is obvious that villain is stacking big pairs and that he can also be bluffing and by betting you are slowing down his big pairs and allowing him to put no more money in with his bluffs. So in essence, you are allowing villain the opportunity to lose the least amount of money which is why the way you played the hand is wtf.

Its 10nl.... he raised pf..... which means he probably flopped a boat......nobody folds a boat at 10nl......at least attempt to build the pot

If you had moved all in on the flop then yeah he may have folded but that doesn't excuse min-betting the flop instead, min-bets accomplish nothing, if your bluffing it'll get called and if your value betting then your not getting enough value imo

Thoughts on the river value shove, do you think just calling is better here? Is it too much to assume that he never has the straight here? No real experience with villain on how he plays rivers/ what the donk bet means but I do not think he is too good a player and he seems to be over valuing some hands.

The only thing he could get to the river that beats you is JT9x but I don't see too much other than that and QQxx that will call your river shove and QQxx should have put in a raise somewhere along the way. Pretty sure it's a check behind unless you think he's bad enough to call with his 2 pair hands.

Yeah I agree with WV... call behind here and take a note of what he has. If he is playing QQxx or some random 2 pair hand like this then start employing the river raise here against him in the future, but him having T9xx isn't THAT crazy and he definitely shouldn't be calling the raise with very much you do beat.

So i am playing this guy HU take 2 buyins off of him and he starts bitching about how I am hitting everything blah blah blah, I am a luckbox (although he is the one sticking his money in bad w/e) so now he starts rivering me a few allins in a row and we are now even and he continues bitching. Last hand I ship river even and naturally he hit his 1 outer but before he calls he timebank slowrolls me. I really dont care about losing but wtf, I did nothing to him, was nice all the time and he slowrolls me even for no reason. I guess it is compounded by the fact that I am running really horrible this week but still, why would you do that?

With him checking the turn I would rule out the str8. I think he is betting two pair. I would bet him like you did.
