Very nice work Ice.
You have it all together and know what your talking about, it was a very nice read.
Congrats on 1k posts, it's an honor to know you my friend.🙂
Thanks shinedown ... i saw this made the Golden Archive, which I am really happy about. Not sure if its appropriate to be stickied in this thread but I hope so, glad everyone liked it so much.
IM, only just saw this, as Ive been busy with crap all week, but I just wanted to bookmark this, so I can come back and read it properly sometime.
Thanks for doing this, Ice.
What an article! And what a way to contribute your 1000th post. Fantastic effort Ice. You've got me thinking about switching upto 25NL as I'm technically rolled for it. Keep it up mate, looking forward to more of your writings.
Wow, cant believe I missed this. Looking forward to reading it after I finish reading this stupid article titled Testosterone and territorial behavior in sedentary and migratory sparrows (yea, school blows).
Great article. I typically believe in the "live and let die" method of learning poker. However, I did pick up several pointers and am very glad i spent a little time to read your work. This does deserve a special place on this website.
I would like to agree with one point. This is definitely one of the top two poker websites on the internet. That is coming from a guy who can not seem to get in the money in more here, but I do love playing here.🙂
I don't know if anyone has said this yet, but this is a really awesome read.😉😉 I just started trying out the cash games, leaving SnG's behind and this is a great help to me.
I already have used a program for recording my games. It's called camstudio and it has a free license. You can download it on download.com. It doesn't have as many features as the one you mentioned, but it works great.
Also, you might want to check out Universal Replayer for replaying hands out of your HH that you don't have recorded. It's also free.😀
But, once again, great read and I can't wait for the second edition of this.
fantastic read and thanks so much!
I play alot of tournaments, but I struggle in the cAsh games, so I am greatful for this and I will report back in when I have the time to try my luck back in the ring!!

I am a beginner cash player and this is great info! I plan on reading this a few times (printing it out now) as I did not realize how much I did not know. I really enjoy this website and do more reading than posting as it's so informative! Thanks again for the input.
woohooo... very nice post.. i've been wanting to actually start playing more cash games.. i have a lot of local cash games that are around, but i stay away from them as i'm mostly just a tourney player. but i'm always wanting to broaden my horizons.. i'm even playing a bit more stud and omaha... again, thanks for the guide, very helpful!
Awesome stuff!! I'm in the process right now of transitioning to cash game play from sng's. What a pleasant surprise to find this at the top of the page when I logged in to Cardschat tonight.
Thanks alot for all your efforts in posting this here. Very much appreciated.
