When playing slots or roulette, you can accidentally choose the wrong bet, and if the bet is less than usual, it's not really a problem, but if the bet is more than you can afford, it can be a problem. And if the bet you choose is 10 or 50 times higher, then it can be a big problem. Once, I accidentally bet 20 times more on zero because I chose the wrong chip. In fact, I bet everything I had in my balance for the game that day. And I didn't have time to cancel the bet. The roulette wheel started spinning, and I was very upset. After 30 seconds, my joy knew no bounds :)

I had one of those, but not in Slots and not that long ago.
I was playing some poker tournament on PS, then came this hand:

I was on the button and looked at 92 of spades. I saw the player UTG raising and I was kind of short, so I thought about an easy fold. But I was also playing a SNG and by the time I decided to act there, the tourney table popped, and I hit the raise button by accident (3-bet).

Somehow, the guy just called, and we saw a flop with 2 spades. He bet more than I had left leaving me no choice. He showed AA, one of them was a spade too! I was really embarrassed. A spade hit the turn and the river was red. I doubled up, but took a bunch of insults even though I wrote "Sorry, it was a mis-click" :ROFLMAO:.

You won a big pot when I raised the turn and went all-in on the river with the naked ace bluff in PLO.

Mistake that made you money, bluff-catcher, or did you think I would bet that much with a lower flush in PLO? I think you had a Q high flush?

Just curious about your thought process.

Sorry man, I honestly don't remember the hand you're talking about. If I called with a flush, then it wasn't a bluff catcher, was it?

In PLO, it often is - if it's not a very aggressive game or HU. In fullring PLO, a queen high flush is a bluff catcher since I don't bet anything less that hard for value.

Since I had the ace, and the board was not paired, you can't have the nuts, but I can and often have. I take the same line with an ace high flush, but with lower flushes, I'm probably often more passive/weak.

PLO is often a game of the nuts or bluffing against people who can't have the nuts with blockers to the nuts. At least on the river. Before that, you can of course also bet good draws.

Same with sets. In NLH, you almost never fold them if a flush or straight is not on the board, but in PLO, the top set is often the only set that you bet or call several big bets with or raise, of course.

But no more bluffs for you;)

I agree with everything you said above. And I surely would've folded a Q high flush in PLO depending how the hand has been played. If I called, it had to be for some reason.
Also, I admit getting in trouble or doing something stupid when I play more than 3 tables, only have one monitor.
Really sorry if I've done anything stupidly weird or offended you in anyway.

Never . That never happened to me . Either on slots or poker or any other game . Every time mistakes did cost a lot , many times fatal for my winning probabilities or even my bankroll . Never a mistake lead to an unexpected miracle win fore

Yes, I have pressed the wrong number, when playing roulette, and it won with a good multiplier, so it was profitable!

Several times I made mistakes that brought me profit. Generally speaking, my most common mistake is playing while intoxicated. But sometimes, when playing drunk, I won quite a bit of money :)
One thing I can say for sure is that it's better not to gamble when drunk.

I have never made mistakes that would bring me any profit or reward. Usually, my mistakes result in direct financial losses and frayed nerves.

Just recently won 360$ by accident in a live gameshow
Wrong betsize was set and I bet 11$ instead of 1,5$ on the main bonus game.
Missed all big multipliers but still a nice prize due to my accidental bet:D

Don't remember any myself, but saw a lady at my blackjack table hit twenty and hit the ace, beating the dealer's 20 😍
The table went wild, but she did not explain her actions

I make strategic mistakes all the time in blackjack . They work about as often as the math suggests , no more or less . But all my action is relatively small so its not a big win or loss either way .

All I can remember are the mistakes that caused me losses. I don't remember any mistakes that made me profit.
