I am mostly a poker player so I am used to strict bankroll management and calculated decisions. But when it comes to pure casino games, since the house always has an edge, do u guys still set strict stop-loss and win-limit rules before playing?
Or do u just set a fixed budget for fun and accept whatever happens? Curious to see how u handle your balance when playing table games or slots

That's actually the best way to do it. You want to have fun; you pay for it. If you happen to win anything, it would be a bonus.
As to BR management, of course people use it in casinos too, especially professionals in low house edge games, blackjack for instance.

I don't play at the casino much, but if I do, I set a small budget and never exceed it.

I’d probably go with a fixed budget. Once that money is gone, I’m done for the session and don’t wanna chase it back.

It works in the sense that here, too, you have to set a limit for yourself—how much you’re willing to risk—and if you win a certain amount, you cash out. But one thing is certain: losing is inevitable; the house has a merciless advantage.

Bankroll management is one of life (not only poker) fundamentals.

So yes it is possible, you have to set limits of the money that you can spent (poker/casino/life) and obey these rules, so that you life expenses never fall short.

I remember I asked this in another thread before and there are always similar answers. Probably just best to stay within your budget.

Is there a bankroll management system for the casino like there is for poker, or do you just play it by feel?

Over the years I have played a lot of BlackJack in many different casinos and for sure bankroll management is necessary...Many times I have watched players join a table slap down $200 and in a few hands they are broke...they dont ration when they are running bad. Im addition to playing Basic Strategy. one must have some style of betting strategy...you cant expect to win every bet but if you never vary the amount you bet then odds are you will be a loser and probably quickly...the first book I ever read about BlackJack suggested a player set their amount of BR then use 6 bets consecutively that end at the amount of your BR..the logic is if after 6 bets you are broke then its not your night. leave...In my experience losing 6 in a row is rare and my personal luck seems to be an occasional loss of 3 in a row but more likely I can recoup these loses in 2 bets. There have been times when I get on a hot streak I can run 6 or 7 wins in a row and if I anticipate this happening then I increase my bet accordingly.. Whatever betting strategy one uses it should be guided by the thought that the house does have an edge and if the cards aren't with you then run.

play a few bucks for fun on the blackjack table if you know what you are doing . avoid everything else unless you are an excellent poker player .simple, easy management strategy ! and no matter what , avoid the addictive slot machines !

Not there is not really unfortunately. The best suggestion would be probably just to stay in your budget and play responsible an not with money you cant lose.

Absolutely ,Bankroll management is all about to control greed and becoming disciplined

Usually in bankroll management you have a win rate, in casion games the house has the edge.

So I think a better way to look at it as part of your entertainment budget.

You can apply bankroll management to any form of gambling. However, this requires an individual approach and calculations that take into account your specific preferences and playing style.

I think the biggest difference from poker is that in casino games you can’t really “outplay” the house over the long run. So I wouldn’t bother with complicated BR rules. Small fixed budget, no reloads, and once it’s gone, session over. Play only what you can lose and still be entertained.

You can´t "outplay" the house in no game the casino offers, rake is rake and you have to pay it if you like it or not.

Only people you can "outplay" are your villains at your poker table or in the poker tournament.

The golden rule is: "the house always wins".

I think you have a better chance of maintaining your peace of mind if you play while adhering to at least some basic form of bankroll management. In gambling, bankroll management is a tool for those who want to ensure long-term prospects.

Yes, treat gambling money as already spent/lost for entertainment purposes.

There's no bank management in a casino, as the algorithms are made to break you.

I think not! All casino games made for you lose your money in a long distance.

Determine in advance the amount you are comfortable with for this purpose. This will be your bankroll. You must not exceed it under any circumstances. You can also divide your bankroll itself into separate parts. Allocate specific amounts for different games or different online casinos. Set daily, weekly, and monthly limits. This way, you will have funds left over for various forms of entertainment.

That’s quite an interesting question. I used to play in the casino just for fun, but then I started managing my bankroll; while I usually bet 1% of my bankroll in poker, here I stick to the rule of betting 2%.
