Realistically deciding to hit regardless of your card total(except 21) is based somewhat upon the dealers up card...if dealer has a 3 to 6 then hitting a soft 17 (A 6) would be advisable. with a double bet, in fact even A7 calls for a double bet and a hit against a dealers 2 to 6...
