unless you find a thrill in finding the seams in the odds that lead to wins

is it worth playing any other games besides poker and poker variants?

Not if you like money, casino games are like sitter limping- you cant do either one and expect to win.

When it comes to long-term winnings, the casino will always come out ahead, that’s true. But when we visit a casino, we’re looking for thrills and to win some quick money. And that’s actually possible. For example, I like to play roulette. 😉

Any casino games are expenses. If for you these expenses are a fee for entertainment then you can play. If for you these expenses are an investment then you better find another hobby.

For me, poker is still the best choice because skill and decision-making can make a real difference.
Casino games can be fun for entertainment, but I wouldn’t expect them to be consistently profitable.

I would say no, but it should be a pleasant experience depending on the casino and if it's your first time entering one, I've already entered several times so I don't feel much anymore, but I still want to take my girlfriend to visit a casino, she doesn't like it that much, but she finds the experience interesting since there are no regulated casinos here in Brazil, so we would have to travel

Well blackjack has a 0.5% house edge, baccarat is at 1%, craps is a little over 1%

versus against other games which can be far better odds for the house to win...,

nothing wrong with fun but for making profit I'd stick with the games with the best odds👍

Casino will destroy your money, so if you want money by playing something, just go study poker to become a long term winner in your favorite modality.

If you play for fun, you can play any gambling game. When playing for fun, the money you spend shouldn't be particularly important to you. It's like money for coffee or dinner at a restaurant.

There are freerolls. Sometimes they bring money. Sometimes you can try to spend this money on slots. And maybe one day you will get lucky. But it is unlikely.
But spending your own money definitely does not make sense.

Honestly not really if you're purely in it for an edge. Blackjack with basic strategy or counting is alright, but house edge still catches up eventually. Poker is pretty much the only thing where you're playing the players and not the math. Everything else is basically paying for entertainment.

There is nothing wrong with focusing on poker, and playing casino games purely for bonus money.

gamble a bit if you can afford it . just don't go overboard ! stick to poker if you are a strong player ; that way you have a chance to win some money long term . if you are not a competent card player stick to the freerolls and have some fun there .

Yes, that's the thrill of gambling. Against the odds or not, a win is never guaranteed. Just like poker, the river is never a sure wn. When the result is pre-determined at very high accuracy, then its not gambling.

Well this depends on you if you are willing to spend a bit you can also try out other games and maybe win a huge jackpot or something similar.

I think it's worth doing what you like within reasonable limits. Then, you'll likely live an interesting and fulfilling life 🙂

If, by " is it worth playing any other games besides poker and poker variants?", you mean "Is it worth it spending some money to have fun?", then my answer is yes.
But if you go to a casino as a serious and responsible player, looking to make some money, yes again, but only in regard to a couple of games. Blackjack and Craps, Baccarat to a lesser extent. Those are the games where the house edge is so small that you can turn it in your favor if you know what you're doing of course. Nothing is that easy, just like in life anyway.

I only play when I win bonuses or free spins. I'm not putting in a penny. And I've already won just using bonuses
