1. my biggest loss is $500
2. my biggest win is $2500
3. yes I have been a betting trap
4. from now on I check everything 4 to 5 times before I make a bet.

Many questions indeed. You could've split them into 2or 3 threads, don't you think?

Anyway, here are my short answers since you're not asking for details;

Biggest loss = $900 (blackjack).
Biggest win = $11K (Blackjack).
I think different people are attracted by different things, and casinos offer so many attracting activities. You might be attracted by table games while others like the huge poker rooms or are simply attracted by shows etc.

As to the "Betting trap" question, I honestly did not understand it.

Biggest loss $400 in slots (my wife and I have a $200 limit each for any night).
Biggest win $1400 in 25 cent slots (my wife hit that one).
No betting trap...we set a limit and have never exceeded it.
What attracts people to casinos? The chance to win a year's salary equivalent in one pull on a slot machine for one dollar.

I won about $2000 and that's my record. I got lucky on the slots. Champagne. I got free spins and a bonus game. MY biggest loss was $270, in one evening.

If I remember correctly my biggest win was like 600 coming from free roulette spins and my biggest loss was around 20 Bucks.

does the sports book count ? my biggest losses were in the world cup 4 years ago betting 100 bucks a shot on big favorites in pool play matches . i lost bets on argentina ( stunning 2-1 loss to saudi arabia ), germany ( 2-1 down to japan ), and france ( beaten 1-0 by tunisia ).intersetingly , and to my annoyance , france and argentina both went on to play great soccer and make the final . i won't be making any big bets this year , that's for sure !

Biggest win $2700, on roulette. Biggest win on slots $1500. Biggest loss $2700 in a night and it wasn't my money.

I don't play big prices, usually under 1$, because I prefer to play more times with smaller bets. I think the trophy of the money attracts the players, and also the game excitement and the tention!
