I play poker because poker allows me to partially pay my bills. I only play gambling when I am willing to consciously spend $10-$20. Therefore, I can say that my poker game and my gambling game are two separate and independent directions. And in general, I seriously consider poker a sport

That makes a lot of sense. No switching between poker and casino just because of winning or losing situations.

I spend money on casino games if I get a profit from sports betting or poker. I can play casino at any time, before poker, after poker, it doesn't really matter.

my girlfriend loves to play the slots , online or in a real casino . i try to discourage the habit and get her to play more poker but she doesn't pay much attention to my advice .

< When do you go from poker to casino? When you've just won and your BR became healthy or when you have almost nothing left?
< When do you go from casino to poker? After getting lucky? Or when things go south?

To be honest, Sami, you’ve made a very logical conclusion about the possibility of combining poker and online casinos. It’s strange, but I’ve never played both poker and online casino games at the same time. In fact, I always take long breaks between playing poker and playing at online casinos.

I think you made a good point there.
If you make some money in poker, why go risk losing it right away in a casino game?
On the other hand, if you get lucky in the casino, which does not happen very often, just add your winnings to your poker BR and play whenever you feel like to.

For me, it's usually poker first and casino second.

If I have a good poker session and book a decent win, I might throw a small percentage of those winnings into slots or casino games just for entertainment. I never really go to the casino when my bankroll is running low because that's usually when people start chasing losses.

As for going from casino to poker, it's usually after a lucky hit. If I run up a small casino balance, I'd rather move it over to poker where I feel I have more control over the outcome.

Poker feels like a skill game to me, while the casino is more of a fun side activity. The moment I start using one to recover losses from the other, that's usually a sign I should log off for the day.
