I noticed that most members know Online casinos more than live ones, probably because they play online poker.
Having both in one place makes it easy to switch back and forth, especially for those who can't help spinning some slots here and there.

So:

< When do you go from poker to casino? When you've just won and your BR became healthy or when you have almost nothing left?
< And when do you go from casino to poker? After getting lucky? Or when things go south?

I can only afford casino games if I win something at poker. And no other way :)

As a casino professional, casino is one of the easiest ways to lose or squash your bankroll, well I do it too at times and get some very good Hits but it's a very risky affair, you switch from playing skills to fighting RTP 😂😂😂

Casinos make the most money in poker rooms by increasing wait times to get into 1-2NL and 2-5NL games, so poker players spend money on slot machines while they wait.Probably because live poker players are a mix of boring old men with coffee, unhappy regulars who have been losing for a long time but convince themselves that they are winning. If 10 people enter a poker room and play until there's no action left (one player remaining), the casino can earn 1,000-2,000 in rake. One lucky player goes home with 8,000. If 10 people play slots until there's no action left, all 10 go home with nothing.

Personally, I try to keep poker and casino games completely separate. Poker is a skill-based game where I can make decisions that influence my long-term results, while casino games are mostly based on luck.

If I do play casino games, I only use a small amount of money that I've already decided I can afford to lose. I never move to the casino because I'm losing at poker and want to recover my losses—that's usually a dangerous mindset. Likewise, I don't automatically take poker winnings to the casino just because my bankroll has grown.

When I switch from casino games back to poker, it's usually because I want to focus on a game where strategy and decision-making matter more. Whether I've won or lost in the casino doesn't really determine the switch.

For me, having separate bankrolls and clear limits is the best way to enjoy both without letting one negatively affect the other. ;)

I usually just play poker, unless they give me free bets/spins/etc.

With money earned from poker, initially in freerolls, I had good practice in roulette and blackjack at 888poker, Party Poker, and PokerStars casinos... They implemented a grotesque regulation of casinos here in Brazil, and 888poker, Party Poker, and PokerStars were banned in Brazil; only poker is authorized. Now I can no longer win money at poker and lose it at the casino.

I very rarely spend money on gambling. I mainly play when I get some kind of bonus, free spins or something like that. Although, sometimes I can also spend $10 from my poker winnings.

Only in the days that I would take a nice profit from poker, and gambling like a maximum of 10% of that profitable day

I'm really sorry but your post is way off topic although the &st post is very clear :

Thank you Botuna, great and relevant insights.
But I'm curious about keeping separate bankrolls when nowadays most sites keep your funds in one place and just call it balance.

So, you're saying that you've been kind of saved by the ¨Grotesque¨ regulation since you can't go lose your poker money in casinos anymore 🤪🤪.

Fair enough! Having a predetermined amount to have fun with will never hurt, as long as you stick to the plan ofc.

I think it's a good idea!
If I have to, or feel like having some fun at the casino, then deciding how much I can use could be the best way to go, especially if I only take a small portion of a profit.

I see. And I actually have a thread about that. I asked if people prefer the sites with a wallet. Most members who replied didn't even know about that.

Faptul că le avem pe amândouă într-un singur loc facilitează trecerea de la un la altul, mai ales pentru cei care nu se pot abține să nu învârtă câteva sloturi ici și colo.
I switch between poker and casino games only when I feel like it, not based on wins or bankroll. I don’t keep a separate budget for casino and another for poker , I just play what I want, when I want. For me it’s more of a change of pace than a strategy.

That's another way to look at it. And it implies discipline and responsibility. Good luck man (y).

Both, if I win and have a little extra to blow, it's a good time to see if luck is on my side, and when I lose a chunk
and no longer care about a few bucks to make a last stand. ;)
