I think it could still be profitable for the casino if the edge is very small. Most casual players don't play perfect strategy, so they would still make enough mistakes for the casino to earn money over time. Skilled players might have a slight long-term advantage, but they would probably represent only a small percentage of the player pool. The real challenge for the casino would be balancing fairness while protecting itself from highly skilled professionals.
