This thread should be used as a touristic guide for all poker players and fun place where you can post a name, photo and maybe even link of the nearest or the best casino in your area, town, city. Also, put the name of the area, city and country.

Please vote for the epic dilemma in this thread poll.

Big poker room (40+ tables), lots of action, nice hotel rooms in the towers. Great 2-free nights promotions.

At 3 hours away, it's not the closest casino to me, but they have a $10 roundtrip bus that stops in my city.

I voted for online poker, because I like that I can pay $11 for a shot at four-figures and have a decent structure. Winstar's structures on the low buyin tourney's (under $250) are not good at all. Better off playing at Choctaw Durant where some of the low buyin MTTs actually have antes.

Derp. Forgot to add that it's in Thackerville, Oklahoma. North of Dallas, TX. :driver:

Wow, it looks trully great! Thank you for posting.

I have two....Foxwoods Resort & Casino, If you want to gamble

Foxwoods-Resort-Casino.jpg

Mohegan Sun in Connecticut for shows, casual gambling, and sights.
Mohegan_Sun_full.jpg

Only two where I am - Resort World Sentosa and Marina Bay Sands.

There's your usual blackjack, big small, roulette, jackpot machines, ban lak, pontoon, and just recently poker.

If you're local, you have to pay a levy of $100 before you can go in and that 'passport' allows you only to stay in the casino for 24hrs. Once that time is up, you gotta pay the levy again.

Presumably the government's way of preventing us locals from turning into pathological gamblers.

And yes, even if you just wanna sightsee and all and not gamble, you'll still need to pay the levy.

Free for foreigners/tourists!

Unfortunately no casinos in mumbai but great to see some pictures in this thread 🙂

One of the reasons I made this thread is making possible for all of us to see some new places and maybe visit any. Casinos are the nicest buildings I believe. 🙂

P.S. This is my first double quoted post. I'm becoming a true CC'er. <3

Here is another one called Choctaw, in Durant Oklahoma where a WSOPC is currently running:

I'll be going there this weekend to try my luck.

Trully, very nice. I wish you good luck bro..

This thread is a cool time capsule. I wonder how many of these casinos and poker rooms are still operating today, and what has changed since 2014.
