My First Casino Experience

My first visit to the casino was interesting—it was for a tournament satellite. The atmosphere was excellent and engaging, though there were unfortunately some downsides.

It was at a casino in Bulgaria where smoking indoors is still allowed, so my clothes and hair ended up smelling of smoke—which wasn't very pleasant.

Another issue is that I have poor eyesight; I can only see the cards clearly when sitting directly opposite the dealer, but that seat wasn't always available when tables were being switched, making it very difficult to play. I asked if I could use my phone as a magnifying device, but was refused; other aids like a magnifying glass aren't allowed either—and would be awkward to use anyway. All in all, the casino doesn't always manage to accommodate the people who bring them business.

And, as usual, luck wasn't on my side: early in the tournament, I hit a straight, but my opponent had a royal flush, so I lost a pretty big pot.

My first tournament at the casino was a failure; I folded key hands like a baby. I lack confidence at live tables.
Same here. I had AQ and flopped the nuts, but my hand was already in the muck. 🥲

Did ur first session was a winning one? would be interesting to know

У меня то же самое. У меня был AQ, и я выбил все лишнее, но рука уже была в грязи. 🥲
In the very first tournament of my life, I had straight on the flop, but by the river my opponent had collected a royal flush and I lost most of my stack. This is my luck — but what are the chances that the Royal Flush will actually come out?

In the second tournament, I had a flash on the flop and had a king. But my opponent also had a flop flush, but he had an ace.

That first casino experience always sticks with you. Whether you win or lose, it's a memory you'll never forget. 🎲

My first casino experience was pretty basic too, mostly just trying to understand how everything worked. I remember being more curious than confident, especially with all the different games around.
