Playing online slots in practice is pretty simple. You pick the casino, the game, you choose your stake and lines, and spin the reels. But there are some things you'll want to think about to make it the best experience possible for you. It's important to check a site like our partner casino.us for reputable guides, reviews of online casinos and bonuses. You may even consider playing one of their many free slot games to test out the game play. Wherever and whatever you decide to play, keep these tips in mind:

🎰 Choose your Slot Game
There are literally hundreds (if not more) types of slot games, each with their own features and rules. Make sure you read the rules and how to of each specific game you play!

🏆 What's the Pay Table?

It's important to know how different spin combinations will award different prizes, and/or how bonuses might be triggered in any given name. Make sure you familiarize yourself with this, as it will be different for every game.

📈 What's Your Stake?
With any form of gambling, it's important to set your stake amount (how much you're willing to bet each spin), as well as a bankroll limit (how much you're willing to put on the line in one session). You also want to determine how many pay lines will be active for each spin. Each pay line is usually another bet or stake, so it's really important to have this set, and know your lines! Only play with what you can afford, and monitor your budget carefully!

🎉 Have Fun, Play Responsibly!

If you follow these simple guidelines and safeguard your bankroll, you'll be able to play responsibly and have fun! But if playing ever stops being fun, you find yourself chasing losses or seeing any of problem gambling signs, 🛑 STOP 🛑 playing, and consider seeking help.

I think setting a budget and sticking to it is very important for slots because they seem to be

very enticing to a lot of people, ... definitely would suggest people check the pay table for all casino games they

intend on playing, don't have a fave game but given the time of year it would probably be something spooky👿🎃👍

And this is where it starts to get tricky and not so fun anymore.

A random game with 20 paylines 😵 It is hard to make any sense of those.

And the Help section has so many rules in it that it starts to feel like reading a TOS of some site/software.

My honest question is NO. I consider Slot machines mainly a way to have fun and any win would be a welcomed bonus.

The most important thing(s), and you said it is to set the stake and the affordable amount to lose.

However, recently (merger), my view is starting to change after having read a lot of posts about Slots.

Yeah, I agree with you - on some games like that I just have no idea what is actually happening. ;P

That's fair - slots is not something I would gravitate toward either. As we all know, I would prefer to play some blackjack, or something with a little more strategy involved.

I'm always kind of puzzled by these paylines to be honest. On "book of dead", which I play mostly in the 888 casino, they are there too and i sometimes randomly increase them by a few cents.

If a player perceives online gaming as entertainment, then they have a chance to win something. A player who goes to play slots to make money will most likely only lose. I think the most important thing in online or live gambling is our attitude towards these games. Slots can be both a good pastime and a place where our money disappears. Our attitude towards the game affects our mood and our profit. Therefore, we must do everything to ensure that such games simply bring us pleasure, regardless of the outcome.

My favourite slot is book of the Dead . I like spinning everytime manually , almost never use auto spin feature , cause it takes away all the fun

Yeah it's true that without bankroll management , if you chase losses and keep on playing you might destroy your bankroll and the fun of the game . You have to stop if the slot don't pay you . Also when the session is a winning one , you have to stop when you feel that the slot will not pay you more but instead it starts taking away your profits .

When I want to try out some new slots, I first try to find the game available for free. It's usually not difficult, as 90% of slots can definitely be found for playing with virtual chips. Then I play it for at least 15-20 minutes to understand all its features. Only then do I decide whether it's worth spending my money and time on this slot.

My strategy in gambling, and in slots in particular, is to always try to have a good time, to have fun and enjoy myself, so that the game allows me to forget my problems. And I must admit, my strategy has always given me the desired result, although in general, it costs a lot of money. But money is definitely not the most important thing in our short lives 🙂

I choose slots based on my experience and only play the ones I like. And I like various fruit mixes, books, suitcases with trunks and boxes 🙂
And of course, I always play disciplined, except when there is too much beer in my fridge 🙂

I was just trying out the slots today, and you know what, for some reason, with a bet of $100, I only got back $20 in winnings. I thought I'd just blow my bankroll. But then I got a chance to spin 10 times, and I won about $1,700. The only shame is, those were just chips I was spinning.

I think that before choosing a game, you need to see how one of your friends plays it 🙂
At least that's what I would do. I have a lot of friends who are gamblers, and if I asked them to give me a “master class,” they definitely wouldn't refuse. And the next step, I think, is to start the game with minimum bets in order to familiarize yourself with the combinations and generally understand how everything works.

But i mean for slots for example there is nothing really to watch you just have to press buttons and hope you get lucky. There is no friend needed really.

I am a firm believer in setting a limit that I am comfortable to lose, slots are designed for one thing, and that is to make the house money,

Slots are totally random, so it's more likely that you will lose your money.

👍

I think I know how to play online slots and casino slots very well...they are sooooo addictive.

I like to play casino in a day that I got some got good results for me in poker. For example... If I take profit of like 100 dollars, for me it would be no problem to have fun using 20% of this profit.

I don’t have one favorite slots game, I just like trying different ones in free play before using real money. I keep trying different slots games hoping eventually to find the one that really clicks with me

Obviously, you should play in such a way that any loss is acceptable to you. Then you will never have any problems, and the game will always be a joy for you.

I know quite well how to play slot machines, but I can say with confidence that sometimes it's not sad to see such a message 🤣

In my opinion, the main thing in this matter is to be realistic and not go beyond your limits. If you decide to spend $10, then it should only be $10. I have a colleague who regularly lost his entire salary and then regularly borrowed money from me for food, and this went on for years.

The slots' "level of difficulty" can be adjusted by the casinos. Is it true that the loosest machines are positioned near the entrances to attract players with the sound of machines "paying off"? That could be a good marketing gimmick. 🤣

I've heard this, but also heard that, the reason these machines seem to payout more often is because, being near the entrance, they're often the first (and last) machines people play as they enter and leave the casino. So the volume of pulls is higher, therefore paying out more frequently.
