Can math actually beat slot machines? (Interesting case I came across)

I doubt in today games you could figure out when they are about to hit. Lets be honest sometime when you see someone win on one its nearly impossible to figure out what they hit with so many payout lines.

This is very intriguing and you would or could imagine that most games of chance and odds.

Can somewhat be broken or beaten by mathematics 🤔

I think that certain patterns can be traced even now. But for this you need to spend a lot of time on the game and do it regularly. I think that someone who is ready to spend time on it, analyze and make appropriate adjustments to their game, I think that it is quite possible to make money on it.

maybe with some huge progressive jackpot at one point it is worth of playing for a chance to win it

Yes but it would need a lot of money and time, which is what most of us dont have
And modern RNGs might need you to spend around a month to figure it out
 
With today's slot machines no amount of math is going to help you beat them. It is all about luck.

Yeah I can imagine slot machines nowadays have some modern computer technology inside which makes it basically impossible to recognize certain patterns.
 
You want to have fun playing but without forcing! If you are lucky and you catch a good spin that covers what you lost and you are even in for a win stop! Do not try to increase the stakes in the idea of recovery!!! You will lose in most cases!

when there is a systematic study of a subject, there will be some results, depending from the quality of the study. So it is possible using maths to understand things!

In online casinos I don't believe that there is a way to see patterns in slots and win very big . You might have the feeling sometimes , maybe that feeling is based and true , but most of the times it's simply random , or worse it's against the player . Some moments or seconds I might have the feeling of patters , but most of the time it is proven an illusion , or maybe I cannot read the pattern better , who knows )))) The longer you play the more probable it becomes to lose your winnings or all your money .

I think in the past such situations were quite possible. Now everything has changed dramatically. Everything is tracked and now I think it is unrealistic.
Games in which the casino has an advantage. cannot be set randomly. Because if they were set randomly then probably the casino could not have an advantage.

In the past I think there were various cases of fraud 🙂
Now there are probably ways to cheat the casino, but the resistance to such attempts is also very high. As for random numbers, I can't say for 100% that they are really "random". Probably everything is not as they try to show us. But if you play disciplinedly, then nothing bad will happen.

it's simple ... you can't beat what they used to call one -armed -bandits long term .
 
The old machine stories are fascinating. I can believe people found patterns back then, but modern RNGs make that kind of edge much harder to imagine.
