Sports books have been a part of Vegas casinos for 51 years since the late Jackie Gaughan opened one in the Union Plaza. Interestingly his son Michael owns South Point where last spring I spent two wonderful late morning to early afternoons handicapping the horses. Afterwards I just walked a few steps and played a poker tournament. 🙂 Casinos are for gamblers, and those two things are definitely a part of that world. 🙂najisami said:I personally don't know how horse races, sports betting and even Keno made their way to be a part of almost every casino games nowadays.
The only one that I can think of is 6:5 blackjack tables.najisami said:If it was up to you, what games would you eliminate from casinos?

That's a little too extreme, don't you think?armoko said:I would remove slot machines as well
