What would be the games you'd rather don't want to see in casinos?
I personally don't know how horse races, sports betting and even Keno made their way to be a part of almost every casino games nowadays.

If it was up to you, what games would you eliminate from casinos?

I’m actually into sports betting. Watching the game is way more fun when I’ve got a little money riding on it.

Absolutely. I like the excitement too.
But we can bet on sports in many ways without having to do it in a casino, live or online.

I believe that sports betting is just as much a part of gambling as roulette or blackjack.

That's totally true. But betting on sports is available in many other ways besides casinos.

In any casino, there are at least 50% of the games that don't interest me and that I wouldn't want to see. They don't really bother me, though; I simply ignore them.

Giving a couple of examples wouldn't hurt.

Sports books have been a part of Vegas casinos for 51 years since the late Jackie Gaughan opened one in the Union Plaza. Interestingly his son Michael owns South Point where last spring I spent two wonderful late morning to early afternoons handicapping the horses. Afterwards I just walked a few steps and played a poker tournament. 🙂 Casinos are for gamblers, and those two things are definitely a part of that world. 🙂

The only one that I can think of is 6:5 blackjack tables.

It actually makes sense when you look at it that way.
Thank you for the historical info too, Emily 🙂.

I don[ mind if the casino offers such games , it might do anything to maximize it's profits either I like it or not . Horse races are sth I dislike , among other games , but if casinos like them they can try to have profits from them

I just thought that they're already making tons of money running poker, slots and table games.
But as Emily said, horse races and sports betting are part of the gambling world, and casinos are made for gamblers.

Horse racing.
I love animals, but it’s not very pleasant when you step in horse manure at the casino.

i like sports betting next to the poker room, because I seldom sports bet. Those poker players who do are usually distracted by the games and are occupied impressing others with their knowledge. Thus they make more mistakes playing poker that I try to capitalize on.

I would remove slot machines as well. I find them pretty pointless, and I’d say the same about electronic bingo and electronic craps. I much prefer playing these kinds of games live, with a real dealer and the opportunity to interact and chat with other players.

Lol. I can relate only because I sat with players busy watching games they had money on and talking about their missed wins etc.
But never played in a poker room close to sports betting section.
