I have always treated any form of gambling as entertainment. However, this does not apply to poker. For me, poker is more of a sport than a game of chance, poker is a game of skill, discipline and experience. Other forms of gambling are simply other forms of gambling.

I'm a wee bit risk averse so a tightrope experience is no fun for me! I just mostly stick to games I know, where I can exert control.

Definitely both, but honestly it comes down to how you treat it. If you treat it like paying for a movie ticket or a night out, it’s just entertainment. The problem starts when people start treating online slots like a side hustle lol. Once you lose that line, it’s pure risk.

Great perspective! It really sits on a thin line between both.
Online platforms make the experience super immersive, but that 24/7 convenience is a double-edged sword. It stays entertainment as long as you stick strictly to a set budget you're willing to lose for the fun of it. The second someone starts chasing losses, it crosses over into a step too bold. Discipline is everything!
