The most important thing you need to know is to avoid it as much as you can. But even if you don’t want to avoid it, at least be aware that playing only slots will ultimately lead to the downfall of your career. We can fool ourselves, but slots weren’t invented so you could make a living from them. Only the casinos make a living from them.

It’s great fun to play. We have to be very careful, though, because you can start losing just as quickly as you start winning. The right thing to do when you win is to close the game window immediately.

I agree that slots should be treated mainly as entertainment. I’ve learned that RTP and volatility are worth understanding, but there’s no real strategy that can overcome the house edge. For me, the sensible approach is setting a limit beforehand and treating that money as the cost of entertainment, not something I need to win back.
