Can poker strategy help you play casino games?

One thing I've learned playing online casinos is that strategy isn't just for poker.

Many people enter slots, roulette, or blackjack thinking it's just a matter of "clicking and hoping," but controlling your bankroll completely changes the experience.

Some players deposit R$100 and immediately bet R$10. When they lose 5 or 6 rounds, they start tilting and desperately trying to recover. This usually makes things worse.

Today I try to follow 3 simple rules:

* never bet high at the beginning of a session;

* set a loss limit before playing;

* and most importantly, know when to stop when you're winning.

Another important thing: playing too fast makes you lose track of your money. When I start clicking automatically without thinking, I know it's time to take a break.

I dont really see many ways that poker would help casino game play. Most of the time in casino games the house has the edge, in poker the good players have the edge. So you are probably better just playing poker if you are good at it and if you are bad at poker you probable will be bad at games where the house has the edge.

Self-control is paramount, and I definitely lack it, which is why I choose to play only poker these days.

A few basic principles that I adhere to.
Play only in a good mood.
Before the game, clearly determine the amount that I am ready to spend.

One personal rule that helped me a lot was never trying to “win back” money in the same session. The moment emotions start influencing bet sizes, logic usually disappears. Sometimes the best decision is simply closing the App and resetting mentally for the next day.
