Hello everyone in the community!

One thing I've learned playing online casinos is that strategy isn't just for poker.

Many people enter slots, roulette, or blackjack thinking it's just a matter of "clicking and hoping," but controlling your bankroll completely changes the experience.

Some players deposit R$100 and immediately bet R$10. When they lose 5 or 6 rounds, they start tilting and desperately trying to recover. This usually makes things worse.

Today I try to follow 3 simple rules:

* never bet high at the beginning of a session;

* set a loss limit before playing;

* and most importantly, know when to stop when you're winning.

Another important thing: playing too fast makes you lose track of your money. When I start clicking automatically without thinking, I know it's time to take a break.

In the end, strategy in online casinos isn't about "discovering a magic formula." It's about discipline.

Do you also have any personal rules that have helped improve your control in the game?

One element that is often overlooked by online casino players is mentality, which some people call psychology or emotions.For example, when playing poker, you should never let your emotions get the better of you, just like you should never let them get the better of you when playing at any online casino.

I read truths!!👏🏻

I dont really see many ways that poker would help casino game play. Most of the time in casino games the house has the edge, in poker the good players have the edge. So you are probably better just playing poker if you are good at it and if you are bad at poker you probable will be bad at games where the house has the edge.

Self-control is paramount, and I definitely lack it, which is why I choose to play only poker these days.

A few basic principles that I adhere to.
Play only in a good mood.
Before the game, clearly determine the amount that I am ready to spend.
And it is also very important to determine the amount of winnings, the target profit, which will allow me to leave the game with cash in my pocket.
And don't get too carried away with alcohol 🙂

Interpretation is an obstacle in your path.

Discipline is really the hidden skill behind every form of gambling.

One personal rule that helped me a lot was never trying to “win back” money in the same session. The moment emotions start influencing bet sizes, logic usually disappears. Sometimes the best decision is simply closing the App and resetting mentally for the next day.

Yes the discipline of knowing when to stop playing and only play within your budget. Thats definitely something we can also apply when playing casino.

Maybe it can, in terms of discipline, bankroll management, and study; but in my case I'm not convinced it made any difference.

I would add: know when to stop, even when you’re losing, because “trying to recover losses” is a mistake you should avoid at all costs. Take a break, do something else, and come back to betting later! Good luck to you!

The only casino games that are not giant EV sinks will get you banned for playing optimally.

The only thing that should transfer from poker to casino games and that is when to stop- and if you care about preserving your bankroll or making money should be before you even sit down.

I really don't see any long-term strategy in casino games other than placing strict stop-losses ahead of time and actually stopping when you get there. The house always has an unbeatable edge online 100% of the time because the software is programmed that way, and if you find a way around that house edge in a physical casino then they will ban you.

You have to approach casino with a strict budget and acknowledge that this specific amount is going to be used for entertainment, no different than going to a concert or a sports event, and STOP when that budget is gone.

My main rule is to record the profit, if there is any, and go do other things. Poker is the foundation for me, poker brings me income, which I partly spend on other gambling.

Yes, of course I have limits! Before the game I decide the lose limit and generally I have also a take profit limit, depending from the conditions.

A player who plays poker with discipline and patience will usually play other games of chance with discipline and patience as well. Therefore, such a player definitely has better chances than others.

I think the discipline from poker can definitely carry over, especially bankroll control and knowing when to stop. But I don’t think poker strategy can change the house edge in casino games.
