No - I've never borrowed money for
gambling, actually I'm against borrowing money in general... still, as it's about gambling - I've been a recreational gambler for 10+ years (mostly poker and sports betting, but also a bit of different casino games * pretty much only at local casino as I do it for the live experience, I'm aware that it's tough to make a profit without putting a lot of work/research/time into it...), so over the years, I've seen people borrowing money from each other and in many cases ruining relationships because of it - I've always worked on bankroll management for both IRL stuff and gambling to avoid this kind of situations... I also have the opinion that if you can't afford to lose some money - you shouldn't gamble, no matter how much fate you have in your abilities to beat the games* even for poker, where skill is very important, the 'luck' factor especially short term can 'eat' your money and leave you broke, that's why bankroll management is so important...
