I did that once 10 years ago ...
Wasn't much, only 150€ but you don't want the feeling of owing someone so you could gamble. I was able to pay him back after 3 weeks.
Don't do it, spend your own money like a big boy

No, I never borrowed it, but I already received it to play, I played at a club in my city where some people paid my registration to play for them, and when I won I usually divide the profit 60/40

No, I never borrow money, and I really don't like lending it to others either. But I had a childhood friend who used to borrow a lot of money from his friends and then never paid it back (even when he won at the casino). He was a strange person. I don't know what happened to him later, but I doubt he has any friends left.

That sounds to me like a quick way to lose money—and a friend (if they lent you the money)—or a husband or wife who doesn’t know you took out a bank loan to gamble... Good luck to you!

I've borrowed before, but I've come to the conclusion that it's a bad idea. When you borrow, you have to pay it back later. And when you lose it on slots, it's like you're losing that money twice. You lose what you lost and you still have a debt to pay back.

Hmmm I dont think so, but I have had people give me some of their winnings to continue playing. It wasn't a lot of money, maybe $10 - $20 bucks. I have also given the same.

if i don't have enough cash, i borrow some from my girlfriend before we go to the local Indian casino ( i sign an IOU) . but i just use it to play poker. i don't play anything in the casino area .

Back in the day, playing home games, we borrowed money from each other when losing,
Looking back, I can see how stupid that was. Throwing good money after bad money.
I would never borrow to gamble; you should expect to lose, although you hope to win.

I have never spent other people's money on gambling. Moreover, I have never thought of borrowing money for such entertainment. If I really want to have fun, then finding $20 or $30 dollars is not a problem.

lol, no but in my early twenties, myself and a friend used to go gamble a lot. End up pawning your cellphone to go gamble. win and buy it back. had a few misses at times. wait for payday to go collect it again. 🤦‍♂️ stupid times but ive learned to stay away from that. I only play poker now and i dont deposit anymore. I just play freerolls and daily freebies. i get enough entertainment from that.

Unfortunately, I did this too often and didn't always pay back the debt when I promised. This often led to problems. But, for more than 15 years now I've been playing disciplined and not spending money I don't have

Covered a buddy once who swore he was on a hot streak in poker and just needed a quick buy in to hit it big. Ended up losing it all in 20 minutes and took months to pay me back. Awkward as hell for our friendship. Definitely learned my lesson to never mix borrowed cash and gambling.
