RIP 888 casino genie?

Ok, so I am visiting Ontario and 888 has a separate Ontario 888 poker App. When playing on that (wow.. this is probably the softest of the soft poker fields you can get btw), I saw the genie! But I could not get him to open the daily spins wheel.

Upon looking at the terms for him on the 888 Casino website, it looks like you need to deposit at least $20 some amount in the last 30 days in order for him to be available.

Thanks for this information the next time I'm going to make a deposit I'm going to report if the spin reappeared for me and if i won anything.
 
I’d miss the Genie too. Even when it gave me nothing, checking what he had for the day became part of the routine.

I had the genie disappear then come back about 2 months ago, I've not had a single win with him since - I think he got doctored! 😆

No its exactly the same before it disappeared. How many times did u spin it in 2 months? 5 times?

Every single day, could be more than 2 months too! The wheel might as well be locked at "No Win", hate the way the genie says "Schmuck" at the end of the spin too every time😆

I win regularly a few cents at least and never i was without a win for 60+ days straight. Maybe the UK client is programmed differently? Thats really very weird.

Yes quite possible, also I spend only 25c a week on casino 😛
Could be related to casino spend/overall 888 spend.

I think the spin has nothing to do on how much u spend in the casino

So u always get the "no win" notification? Thats really strange i mean before they cancelled it i spinned this for a year+ and never went on 60 days without a win of free spins. Max is like 3, 4 days for me.

This is very weird. I swear my max streak without at least 2 free spins is something around 4 days. I can only imagine they lowered the odds for UK players but who knows 🤷

From memory I'd get a prize at least a week, maybe twice so yeah something has changed. I'll keep "score" on this thread🤣

Did you win money directly on the wheel? I never won money like that, only spins and then with the spins I won and win some money at times.

Yes the spin prize was as shown - so I now have $0.50 "bonus balance" alongside my cash balance.
I take it that is pretty much worthless? I rarely play slots and definitely won't burn through my cash balance to get to that bonus.
 
In my case (Argentina), he had disappeared but returned; apparently, he spent everything on his holidays. Its spins don't make a lot of money, but it's still fun. I send him my regards, hahaha.

Yes its useless. As long as u have money in you account the system will take ur money first and play will not count as progress for the bonus.
 
Honestly, I don’t see much use for that genie anyway. I’m always required to place bets worth several times the free spins, just for the chance to win a few cents… which, of course, you’re never going to win. 😂
