I rarely play roulette. If I do play, it's mainly during the winter holidays. For some reason, I have better luck in winter. I prefer European roulette and only play online at PokerStars. But it's quite possible that I'll be willing to consider other casino options, especially if I can get some kind of deposit bonus.

I have never played European roulette. I will play roulette with Angel once in a while and watch her rake in hundreds while Iose lol. It is fun when the table is hot and lots of players are winning.
I've been just lucky enough on roulette to win a little, but lose a little more.

I didn't know that roulettes have these small differences and that they add a lot to house edge . Good to know . Although I rarely play roulette , only for fun , cause I think it's pure bingo , great variance , 100% luck . Well maybe not 100% exactly, at least not online . And slots are a game of luck , but j have da lot of fun , so yeah I prefer slots to roulette. Anyway, thanks for sharing this info .

Russian roulette is when your brain is already on the wall and there is no one to wash them. Excuse me, colleagues, that's the kind of black humor I'm talking about.

Since i play more rarely, i thought there was some pattern to these roulettes. It's interesting to see these variations in more modern versions, especially in online casinos. I discovered that my country's national roulette is based on european roulette, meaning we don't have any original versions. :ROFLMAO:

Well that's gotta suck, if I play roulette, and that is a big if, I'll only play the European version, as we all know, the lower the house edge the better.

How do they get away with it, when does it stop, are we going to see 4, 5,or 6 green 0's in the future?

There's a minimum bet size in roulette, of course. However, I'm interested in the maximum bet size. After all, there has to be one too.

Does anyone know more precisely what the average maximum bet size is for roulette?

I think it will depend on the place where you are playing. However, I have seen a relatively small casino raise its upper limits, but this would require asking the croupier, who would ask the pit boss, and then a decision would be made.

Is it actually standard for casinos to offer both types of roulette (American & European) or is it really the case that in Europe only the European style is offered and in America the American style?

Each version offers a unique twist, so it's worth trying several to see which one suits your style; choose one based on your risk level or playing preferences.
I've only played the European version, and I've felt comfortable with it.

I stumbled upon roulette wheel manufacturer that makes wheels with not only 1 or 2 zero sections BUT ALSO with 3 and 4.
I mentioned this in my casino thread:

Can you shed more light on this?

well the two main conditions it takes for me to play roulette are: losing in blackjack
and having a good buzz )) although the odds are worse, I usually play American because
I like the 0/00, and that's where I put my money. I prefer the colors red, black, or green.
if drunk enough and just having fun then it is fun to spread my bets to random numbers and
just cover 10 or 20 dollars a few times till broke. (the original buy-in)

Overall, I think if you refrain from playing roulette, it will be your best decision :)
But obviously, if you really want to spend money, you should choose European roulette.

I find roulette the most interesting of the casino games, so I prefer it more, and I play the European type.

Ohhh this thread is interesting because many years ago i won 200$ in a casino. i played european roulette. I didnt really know
that there is a kind of american roulette.
So now i wanna get in touch a bit more with the odds and learn something about the game to play it in the future again.

Good Luck @roulette folks :)

Roulette is the classic of the casino and is the favorite game. This is the game in which I have won but also lost a lot of money, so I would advise you to use part of your bankroll, I personally bet more than the slot machines, about 10% of my bankroll. I play roulette with a live dealer, lightning roulette, which can light up a number with a multiplier of up to 1000. If you hit it, the money is good. I play European roulette with one zero - better chances

I doubt I could play roulette for an extended period of time. Maybe a single roll at the end of a long night of poker, "Put it all on black."

Games that are all about chance don't appeal to me. I prefer games that are dependent on skill, at least to some factor. Total skill games (like chess) or total luck games (like roulette) are not as fun as games that combine the two (like backgammon or poker).

Yes i kind of agree with you but the same time it's very relaxing to play a bit of roulette online. It's the noises of the ball and the graphics ☺️

As a low effort thrill game after a long, hard poker tournament you can't go wrong! Not sure about differences in games but I've had some nice luck with roulette.

Very interesting, I didn't know these differences.
When I think about roullete, I imagine an European casino, perhaps because of the James Bond films.
A beaten, not stirred Martini, a beautiful and dangerous girl and a lot of class. ;)
