It's regular chips. It would say something like "Quality Casino Posts" or something like that. Pretty soon we're going to separate the currencies, to differentiate between casino earnings and poker ones.
 
I am not sure how to do this...I have made a post and gotten the 5 VIP chips, but unclear about where to post about it to sign up for the game today 12/24.

After the new year, we will be making some changes to VIP that will make it so that you can use your VIP credits to get your seats in these games, rather than post screenshots, etc. Stay tuned for an announcement!
