I play blackjack a few times a year if I feel like it. I have never won more than $100.

If the game is 50/50.
To win 100$ it is best to bet 100$

If you bet 10$ 20 hands and win 10 hands and lose 10 hands you win 0$ EV=0
nodet plus or minus ev.
If you bet 10 $ for 10 hands and win 6 and lose 4 you win 10$ profit.
To win another 10$profit .
8 more times doing that betting strategy(6w+4L) and sizing of 10$ each standard deviation of .2 to win 100$ over 100 hands is real tall order

It's such a 50/50 you can't move your bankroll anywhere besides down.yes the house edge is real and wasn't calculated

Try this strategy take 100 and make 20 5$ stacks.
The goal is to bet a stack
4 OR 5 times in a row letting it ride or it must bust..
You have 20 tries for 4 or 5 in a row .
If 5$ hits 80 $or 160 $
Bank it

I played blackjack twice at a live casino and enjoyed the game. But both times I lost more than I won. I've only made a profit a few times playing at online casinos.

I played BJ only one time at a casino. Was in Vegas many years ago while passing through. Lost most of the $25 I planned to spend on BJ, which was the only game I knew how to play, other than a slot machine. I may have won a couple of hands, but I guess my biggest win was the free beer the waitress brought to the table.

Turned $50 into about $650 on a random trip with some friends once. Got on a crazy run where double downs just kept landing and hit like three blackjacks in 10 minutes. Cashed out immediately, bought everyone drinks, and lost $100 of it back the next night lol.

My biggest blackjack win was around $280 from a $40 buy-in. Nothing life-changing, but it felt great because I usually play small. I cashed out most of it before I could give it all back.

I don't think I've ever won more than about fifty bucks playing blackjack . But that's not surprising since I almost never even give it a try .
