How has your relationship with gambling evolved over the years — are you more disciplined now, or do you miss the reckless thrill from when you started?

I'm more disciplined now. I think this happens naturally when you have an interest in involving and increasing buy-in values.

Well many things when you're young and stupid don't seem like such a great idea when

you're a little older and hopefully a little smarter, ... hopefully,

.... I do miss being able to play on Full Tilt Poker though😎👍

I definitely don't miss reckless excitement. On the contrary, I am glad that with time and experience, I have become a more calm and pragmatic player.

First i try some table games and each timei would get to a nice amount i would lose back everything and i never went back 😀

I rarely play lottery anymore. 35 years ago I did more of it. Heck, I even bought some scratch cards back then.

My way of playing has evolved over time. I used to make a lot of mistakes due to lack of experience, played too many hands and let myself be carried away by emotions. Nowadays I am more disciplined, I analyze my rivals better and I make more conscious decisions.

Changed in that I don't deposit money to any site. I only manage with the money I win.
By the way, I play the lottery every week, this hasn't changed at all over the years.

Of course, I have become more disciplined. And this applies to both poker and other gambling games. I have long since grown up from the age when I could leave my entire salary in the gambling hall. And I will not say that I miss those "fun" times 🙂

I don't miss the reckless tilt of the first years . Because I don't miss the constant redeposits , everyday , one after the other . No , for sure I don't miss it . Now I have discipline , because I like| it that way , moreover they font pay enough , the casino games and poker . So no reason yo take it more seriously , start playing more dollars . I am very conservative these days .

I don't go on monster tilt anymore. I don't rip down the curtains if down ten buy-ins. I prefer that I'm calmer.

Hi, Nicole!
My relationship with gambling is much more relaxed now, as the online casino I used to play at is no longer allowed in my country, so I don't gamble anymore 🤣... It was fun while it lasted!😉 good luck!

I understand that many people enjoy gambling, but I consider it a social evil and a tax on stupidity. I'm not saying everyone who gambles is stupid. If you can control it, great, but many can't.The people who usually go there are at the bottom of the economic ladder.

I have become a player who earns income. There was a time when I was recklessly gambling, but that was when I was spending money on the game. It was fun, but at the same time, it was not cheap. Now everything has changed. Now the game brings me income, so I play disciplined, do not take unnecessary risks, think through every decision, keep statistics, and adhere to bankroll management.

At first, I was a scared little chicken <3 petrified of my family history with gambling and whether or not I would fall into that as well <3

Then covid hit, and I found this beauty of a site and, well, lets just say I am a changed woman <3 At first, I would shake and stutter with a hand, and now, I am so ready to get my butt to a casino 😛 and eat chippies 😛 hehe <3

Every year you grow up and understand that it is better to spend money on something else than to lose everything in a casino.

Yes changed in bad way, after 20 years of gambling I’m more reckless 🤮

At the beginning, it was gambling with no brakes: too much excitement, fast decisions, and confidence bigger than the bankroll itself 😅
I played as if luck were a close personal friend… and later found out it was a very moody one.
Over time, things changed. I became more disciplined, I count the losses before the wins, and I leave the table before it leaves me. The fun didn’t disappear — it just became calmer and smarter.
Do I miss that old recklessness? Sometimes, yes… but most of the time, it’s the recklessness that misses me — especially when I remember how expensive it used to be.

Como evoluiu sua relação com o jogo ao longo dos anos? Você é mais disciplinado agora ou sente falta da emoção imprudente de quando começou?
I'm actually much more disciplined today, but I also miss decisions that made me be more courageous at specific moments in the tournament

When I think back to when I started playing, I realize now that back then I was more like a narcissistic and unbalanced teenager. Now, I'm not like that anymore. Now, I think 10 times before spending even a single dollar.

I have become more disciplined and now play within the limits I have set for myself. Before, I played as if it were the last day of my life and I no longer needed money.

I’ve become more patient over time too. I used to get excited and chase a good run, but now I’m more focused on setting a limit and enjoying the session without forcing things.
