For me, I try to follow a simple rule:

For online poker, I double the buy-in and then leave. I think that as your stack grows, there is a chance of losing it all in a single bad beat.

For live cash poker, I rarely leave because I want to maximize profits. I usually just stay and play as long as I’m enjoying it.
I meant online casino games. Poker is a different matter :)

My loss limit is $20-$30.
My take profit is at $100-$150.
Sorry, maybe I didn't write it clearly enough.
It's much clearer now but I also should've read more carefully, sorry.

What is your Take Profit?
And do you have one at all?
I have a Take Profit, this is my so-called "upper limit" upon reaching which I simply stop the game and close the session. My limit for the evening on slots is $20-$30. As soon as the total on my account is $100-$150, I stop and close the session. Do you have this limit, this bell that signals you that the plan for today is fulfilled?
It’s always good to call it a day!
But the next day there’s always a high chance of everything getting emptied in less than 5 hands! 😄
