2009- finally started playing poker not for the money, but because i want to play...

2010- play less poker and concentrate on things more important

2009:

went from 0 to ~ $120 on FTP
played cash games the past month..about breakeven.
had a nice cash on ultimatebet for 150 bucks

2010:

by this time next year id like to have my BR at FTP ~300
play more in the academy and earn credits to buy satellite tokens.
dont tilt and blow my whole roll.
keep up with the great brm.
focus more on school than poker

2009 (OCT)

Started to play online poker again after 2.5 yr sabbatical
Started participating in a forum -- CC (registered @ a couple of others but just lurk @ those sites)
4th in the Ferguson
4 other final tables (best finish = 2nd)
Read Treat Your Poker Like a Business (um, just today )
Improved semi-bluffing skills (transitioned to application from theory )

2010 Goals

Decide on an online game to specialize in (yep, just finished Dusty Schmidt's book ^^)
Transition to & primarily focus on online Cash Games
Take down a tournament (probably will have to be a smaller field than the Ferguson or Daily $)
Buy & read Treat Your Poker Like a Business Vol II & Raise when available
Become more comfortable bluffing & stealing blinds (because it's part of the 'job')

2009 Accomplishments:

My 7th $3000 (+) Winning year in a row in online poker(2nd best year)
Found and Joined Cardschat :icon_thum
Refered Beau Akita to CC (Congrats on Great play here Baby) :handkiss:
Made alot of great friends at CC
Sept MOTM :icon_chee
Hosted/Helped with extra tourneys for CC Members (Tx Participants):beer:
Won 3rd and 4th Quarterly Leader Boards (thanks for all the great money added tourneys CC)
Helped the Guys Crush in Guys/Gals Challange :driver:
2nd in CC Challange wins & by far the Best Boaster! :rock: (Congrats Pifan on 1st)
Won a CC Tourney 4 days in a Row :eating:
Added 3 new Pokersites and built/withdrew nice bankrolls :elefant:
Continued to study/read/learn about poker and implemented my plan,

2010 Goals:

Las Vegas in June Baby WOO-HOO

-Beat every type of game I played except 50nl where I ran royally bad in a micro sample size
-Turned nothing into decent profit
-Passed CFA Level 1

2010 goals:
-Platy star all and only 3 months I can play online poker
-Triple my 2009 profits in those 3 months
-Find farming job
-Find more hobbies
-Pass CFA Level 2

Became a member of CC and love the site.
Won $ 60.00 this year. I know not great, but hey, I did not loose it back..lol
Identified that I get more drawing hands that pairs (about 2 to1)
Purchased and read a number of poker books. Probably too many.
2010:
ID which games I do better at....Limit cash, Limit SNG, or NLFR
Research how to play drawing hands better. The book I am reading now is Hold Em on the come by Rolf Slotboom.
Double my profit from last year.
Continue to contribute to this site when I can.

Well, time's up for me on these and although I didn't turn around those two losses to wins, I did make a little more money and got close to even with both. If I had the rest of the day I could likely get there, but other pursuits are calling.

Did get my bookshelf organized (first shelf poker books to review, second shelf poker books I won't look at for awhile, and third shelf other books). I love having things in order!

Finished in the black, but most profits came from affiliate promotions and rake races. Slight gain in real money games.
Focused more on cash games than tournaments and broke even on nlhe cash games.
Tried shortstacking for about one week and determined it is for challenged people who can only accomplish things in life by taking short cuts.
Bacame burned out on hold em and started playing more HORSE games.

2010:
Play very little hold em and keep playing HORSE (or ORSE, if you will).
Maybe play in the wsop Circuit event in my hometown if I can motivate myself to play hold em again.

started a nice little challenge (carbon BR - builder)
cashed out for the first time
gave some $ away to CC members, my brother and Bianca
made 2K posts (by garfing)
learnt alot here

work less (not workless) - play more
stop playing ring w/o a hud

read a poker book

stop taking shots without a huge overlay

Played 300k hands at small stakes (100nl & 200nl) and used poker income to pay for everything but the rent for the last 6 months.

2010

Stop doing that to let the bankroll grow for real and move up in mid-stakes. Drop the number of tables to focus more on improving my game.

Joined CC, read many books and material.
Made a $68 profit on Titan. (mainly from 2x MTT cashes)
Turned $0 into $13 on Fulltilt.

2010
Hopefully get rakeback set up on Fulltilt (and make it my main site)
Pull in a $1k+ MTT cash.
Only play worth while freerolls.
Continue playing some SNGs and MTTs.
Play more cash games.

Loser at ring games
Winner at Tourneys/sng
Bought some poker books.
Two trips to vegas-one trip a winner, one trip a loser, break even at vegas.

2010
Play the games I'm best at.
Play way more SNG. Get sng wiz.
Read the poker books I bought.
At least one trip to Vegas.
Play in a WSOP event.
Get dakota's Adderal-I need it.

I started playing holdem in 2009, so I just have plans for 2010.

1. I want to win a GTD tourny (20-30K).
2. I plan to get in BPO (Budapest Poker Open) through satelite.
3. Win at least one CC tourny.
