2009 WSOP - anyone going ?

Is anyone here making there way to VEGAS to play in one of the tournaments? I'm thinking about going in June for Event 51 - 1500 no limit hold em.

ill prolly head down in june to just go to vegas for the first time in my life....

but if I happen to play a sattalite and get into a wsop event, would be pretty ballin. I'd love to try.

heres your answer POKERCHILD69 will defenitely be entering the 1500 nl event this year. My bags are already packed (wink wink). As well as the wifes approval and well wishes. When it gets close i will make a thread and hopefully any CC members and i can get together as this will be my life long dream to play in the WSOP. For absolute certain CARDSCHAT #1 DONKEY WILL BE GOING FOR THE GUSTO AT THE 2009 WSOP.. Hope more of you will join me..

Would be nice if it was as easy as the OFC BUYIN I WON but i hardly doubt it......

Im trying to freeroll my way in at fulltilt and playersonly. I cant afford the 10K buyin so ill try my luck with the freerolls.

I'll be in Vegas for Most of June and the Main Event. I'm new here at Cardschat, but it's always nice to meet people from these boards.

I'll mostly be at the Cash tables, but usually hit a few events as well.

It's mentioned above that you can't afford the entry fees. Don't forget about the Satellites. They run all day, everyday thru-out the WSOP and are a great way to pay your way into the tourneys.

I was saving money since febuary to go and play one of the 1500 Limit Hold-em events but I can't cause with the ecomony I have bills to pay so I'm gonna have to wait till next year.I will try to win a seat online at pokerstars or ft.

Might be making my first trip this year for Event 53 1500 7hl. Im way too old too never have been to Vegas. Hope some members are there and hit it big.

wished i could try my luck in the WSOP, but the only way i see it happing is to win a game on ub to get in.

I'm with alot of others in that the economy has me postin up at the house this year, but good luck to u and any other meembers of CC who can join u. I am tryin to Fr my way there on FTP as well but those things are a mad house.

Planing on Vegas in late June to meet up with some CCr's, play some poker and do some skydiving. Nothing concrete though.

Theres a couple local casinos holding tournies for a seat so I may give them a shot, and I'll definetly be trying online.

I'll be in vegas in june. I'll be staying at the RIO were they play the WSOP for part of the stay. The sent me 3 free nights. Must know I'm a fish. Going to try and play one of the lower buy-in events. If enough people from CC are out there, maybe we can get together for a small game.

Im not going to say Im not going,if Im blessed enough I will.We have a new casino here in WestVirginia,and Id love to be able to go there and buyin to their NLH tournys.The times are very tough,I really could use the win right about now.I wish each player the very best of luck that get to go play!!!!!!!,Perhaps you will run into Cardschat friends.!
