I would have to say my goal for this month is to cash in the million dollar Sunday, a $265 buy-in. I won the buy-in taking first place in last months rankings from a different poker forum. My next goal is to try and make to the wsop circuit events held this month in Durant, Ok. Of course if I can go, I would like to cash in this event going deeper then my best finish in WSOP circuit which is sixteenth place. Maybe win the event and a WSOP ring. Its not a bracelet, but it is WSOP bling. My next goal is too be active enough to be able to play in the cards chat buy-ins again, maybe even there freerolls. - stop limping good hands
- stop calling all-ins from any position on the bubble
- (optional) start to play more rational
- re-read some poker (and non poker) books which i read in the past but dont rmmbr what they are about
- start to spent more time with my family

I want 2018 to be a winning poker "season", such that on January 1, 2019 I can look back at 2018 and say, "I made money playing poker!"

For 2017, I was in a positive cash position in live home games and on PokerStars, but in a negative position at live casinos.

Studying poker strategy will be a critical component of my plan to achieve my goal.

Moving up in 2018

I play at a local casino a few nights a week 1/2 NL and my style is overly tight. My goal is to move to 2/5 NL and see if this style of play holds up as well against players.

I am an online player on 888. Last year my 70% games were freerolls and the 30% were Blast games which funding was done by freeroll winning.
The result was the Blast games never let my bankroll to grow beyond a point.
This year I am gonna play a lot of paid tournaments ranging from $1-$12 funded by freeroll winning.
