I dont even know what to say... I thought running at -$1k for 5 days over 20k hands was enough variance for one month. But hey have 3 winning sesssions after and then tonight have 4 set under set hands...hrmm I'm hard-pressed to have that many set under set hands in 2 or 3 weeks... Variance FML

Alright after losing $135 in my shots at 1/2 FL6 and 25nl FR, I'll be back to grinding .5/1 FL FR tomorrow after all my homework is completed.

Fwiw $20 of the $55 I lost at 1/2 was a flopped set of Tens losing to JJ when board came 9T478r

So, I won a satellite tournament to enter in the MiniFTOPS #7 tournament on September 12 ($10+$1 REBUY).. and I'm tempted to unregister, because I hate rebuy tournaments. But with a 150K prize pool - with 1st place taking $34.5K.. I don't know if I can come to terms to hitting that unregister button, lol. If anything, I'll just play with what I have, and not rebuy. I'll have a chance at least.

people who dislike rebuys generally aren't very good at (tournament) poker.

e: lol didn't see mortis' post before i posted this.

playing a rebuy without having the br to rebuy is definitely a bad idea - the whole point behind rebuys is you generally have to give up a few rebuys to build a competitive stack, then after the rebuy period play some fun deepstack poker. that's why all the noobies who say stuff like "ZOMG REBUYZ R ALL LUK N NO SKILL" are so amusing - take the first hour out and they're far more skill-based than 'regular' donkaments because of the deep stacks.

oh and after 5 minutes it removes all players who have been sitting out since start of tourny, so without playing a hand i have reached the 2nd level payout, and am 2 people away from cashing in the 10k 1 also without playing a hand
