Was Full Tilt busto at the start of August and found a random $90 lying around on Neteller. So had to start off on the micros. Turned it into a roll currently just over $1,800: not a bad result.

Breakeven in hold'em, over 1700 hands. I suck!

Just over 10k hands of PLO, PLO8 and limit O8 combined, up $1,838, running about $500 below expectation on all-ins.

September goal: get a job and earn this much every few days...

My main and only goal for August was to make $.
Goal Accomplished

The month started off with a sizzle then it was up and down to say the least. My biggest struggle was moving up in limits, while at the same time trying to pass a new milestone, over, and then again, and again, and trying to stay above it. Several bad beats at the new level, with decent play, made a mountain of a graph thanks to over-aggressive micro-donkers. 8,500 hands wasn't a lot, but it's about average. 4 losing days out of 27 days played. More money made in less time and less hands than previous months, though I can't say I'm happy about the down-slides, I'm surely not disappointed about the overall month.

Goal for September: Make $

I don't have charts, but here are my wins and losses for August:

CASH GAMES
------------
-40.70 in HORSE (3/6, 2/4 and 1/2)
+6.80 in PLHE (one $10 session)
+8.19 in NLHE (four $10 sessions)
+41.35 in LHE (1/2 and .50/1)
+105.60 in razz (3/6, 2/4, 1/2 and .25/.50)
+305.80 in stud H/L (3/6, 2/4, and 1/2)

SNGs and MTTs
---------------
+83.65 in NLHE SNGs
+107 in stud H/L MTTs
+678.82 in NLHE MTTs

It was a very good month, one of my best yet. It brought all my balance sheets to the positive side except for Omaha, in which I'm still down quite a bit for the year.

My goal for September is to cash in the Full Tilt $750K Guarantee. I won a seat in a satellite today but felt I was too tired to play well, so I'm planning to play next Sunday instead. I'll also hit up more satellites for future seats. I'd also like to write an article/blog post (maybe two separate ones) about ICM and bubble factors, since I've found doing that really helps drill things into my head.

Bored of full ring now so play 6-max/HU until 1 of 2 things happen. I learn how to play 6 max or i go busto (with some slight variations)

My one and only august goal which i achieved 2/3rds of. I didn't go busto, :), i failed to learn 6max :(, discovered HU as now being my main game :D

September Goals

1. Just play hands dude, i don't play nearly as much as i should/could

2. Acheive goldstar as a minimum, really should be looking at platinum now i've found a game i enjoy, that should make me play hands

3. Experiment with 100nl by the end of the month

4. Find the grim reaper and give him the finger!

Don't think I posted August goals, but this has been a nice month. Played almost exclusively 6max, first at 50NL, then 25NL after a nasty downswing hurt my confidence, then back to 50NL for the last days of the month.

Up about 600$ for the month including $150 in rakeback and $70 in 2 freeroll cashes (ironman & raketherake). bankroll has finally gone firmly through the $2k limit that teased me for a while. Also got silver ironman level on FTP, which means an extra $50 in bonus waiting for me at the end of the year.

Goals for September are to play 20k hands at 50NL 6max and hopefully move up to 100NL once BR reaches $3k. If I play those 20k hands and run reasonably good (4BB/100), then it should be achievable by the end of the month.

p.s. September has got off to a sh1t start.

My KK's got busted 3 times out of 5 and I lost a buy-in to J9o (my own fault).

Never mind, onwards and upwards.

I made profits in August, so thats good. I cashed out a nice sized check as well.

Goals for September:
-Rebuild my BR playing mostly micro-SNGs. I'll play some ring games a few small MTTs, but SNGs is the BR builder.
-Finish with a decent ROI% and ITM%

My August graph. Great heater to start the month, nasty downswing to keep expectations in line with reality, and then a nice finish. 14k hands at 25nl and 6k hands at 50nl in total.

Just a question for the people who use stars how do you work out your rakeback relating to FPP's

For example how much rakeback would 100fpp's be equivalent to?

August Blows. If it weren't for a good month of Stud, Horse, and rakeback, I'd be waaaayyyyy down. Nice little comeback at the end of the month tho...

Goals for September:

1) Maintain Legend Status at Ultimatebet
2) Increase bankroll to 1600$ to move $600 to full tilt while still being double rolled for 25$ NL.
3) Get back to winning status at 25$ NL.
4) Stop being a work-a-holic and play 30k hands.

Depends on how you cash them in. If you get a bonus you can calculate exact value. Last month I did the 5400 turbo satellites to the Million, so it was dependent on how many I won. Generally though the various methods will get you 1.5 - 1.7c per fpp, so 100 fpps is like a buck and a half or so.

1 September goal, make Supernova. 25k vpps to go, it's around 75k 100nl hands and hopefully I'll be able to recover and move up to 200nl and make it even less than that.

so would you suggest using these fpp's you earn to play in events and sattys ??

Also if you did would they stop from counting towards your status such as if you played a 100fpp satty would you take 100fpp off how many you have earnt towards the status ?

I think until I become a better player, I shall just leave genral goals,

Satty into the sunday 200k every week.

After 1st week substituted 200k for ept london weekly final 2/4 weeks played

Play some 1 dollar mtts and afterwards review all my hands and follow some good advice written here.

Played some had a few penultimate tables but epic fail on the reviewing

Try to get on the BOP top 100 at least once.

Was 1st place all week until saturday one week and finished 3rd in low orbit, also had a 30th in high orbit. Dont think I shall be doing a high orbit for a long time again I basically was just wasting my BR.

Keep grinding the 18 seat sngs and make a profit for the month, which should be easy to do (goads gods of verience).

Done, although due to BOP high orbit I wasted some nice profits.

September Goals

Keep trying to reach EPT weekly final.

Try and get on Battle of the planets leaderboard again.

Keep grinding and get close to 100 buy-ins to move up a level.

Jurno, spending FPP's does not affect your status.

How you use them depends a lot on what limits your playing, how often you play tbh. If your getting them pretty damn fast then save them up and buy the biggest cash bonus you can afford. TBH, I wouldn't bother getting anything less than the 50k FPP one as the other are way less in value.

If that's too much for you then you need to look at the 200k satty's I think there supposed to be good value.

August Goals:

I'll try and keep it simple this month so that I can actually accomplish my goals.......

1) Play 20 Heads-up SnG's.

2) 20 SnG's and review at least two NLHE tournament Hand Histories.

3) Play 2 MTT's.

4) Post at least 10 hands for review.

5) Read the rest of Colin Moshman's Sit 'n Go Strategy and go back to reinforce key concepts.

I met one of my September goals today, to cash in the Full Tilt $750K Guarantee. Not a spectacular showing, but $ nonetheless. I was nursing a short stack for the entire tournament so it's a miracle I got as far as I did. My last hand was an UTG push with KJ (hate to do that) and an M of about 4.

It took two satellite attempts to get in. I've lost so much in cash games this week I wasn't sure I wanted to use the T$ I won last week on the entry, so I played more satellites today. Now I'll use the extra T$ to enter some SNGs and/or smaller buy-in MTTs and hope to do more bankroll building.
