If you've been losing repeatedly at the poker table or can't handle tournaments for a long time, do you think you're in a bad mood?
For some I see that after two or three non-winning hands (this does not mean that he played flawlessly) they fall into depression or at least they don't go over...we get stuck? why?
A lot of people will send us to school to learn something, but you won't have a formula to get over the bad moments.
I don't want to be dramatic, but I think there aren't really bad moments in poker, only good hands played badly...or inattention or rashness....and you can continue:😃👍
I wish you good mood to go quietly and happily higher in your life ❤️

A bad mood is a consequence of large moves and loss of time, so it is important to approach the bankroll professionally and follow the basics of poker.

Hello. What can you say to colleagues when they complain, often repeated by a bad pass?
An encouragement or a distraction from his mood is good?

If one thinks they are in a bad mood, they better not play poker that day. Also, whenever you decide to play, cash or tournament, you need to be prepared to lose a couple of hands but the patience is the key to not get tilted.

The truth I think is very relevant depending on how you are able to see things
In order to give good advice, I think we start with: don't ban, don't disregard, don't affect someone directly, maybe don't deal with it. I'm not an expert in anything, I just thought that we're not getting anywhere lamenting but finding the way to move forward towards what we aspire to

A bad mood and playing poker can be a killer to your game. When I am not in the right frame of mind, tired or not feeling 100% I don't play. When I play and my mood turns, I will stop playing cash game on the rarity I am playing them and stop signing up for tournaments in that session.

When I was in Las Vegas last year I play badly in one tournament. I noticed my mood turn badly. I went to the pool and relaxed and had a nice dinner. I went back to play the daily night game at the wsop but I was not really feeling t and still stewing over my bad play. I took the night off. Next day I chilled again with the plans to play in one of the golden nugget series events that final night I was there. I got to the casino but really was not feeling it and really not in the mood to play. Yeah, my dumb play from the previous day was bothering me and I realized my play was more like my D game that A game. Instead of throwing my money away I had another nice meal and enjoyed a show instead. Yes I game up multiable tournament while in Vegas because I was not in the right frame of mind and mood. Somedays it's not worth playing and better saving the money.

So the most important thing is to look for the things that make you feel good. Small things can change your mood for the better.
I wish you a pleasant weekend 👍

A good word to help our colleagues?
I say let's not focus on the bad moments. This topic has been discussed a lot lately, but I think that any loss was momentary and why it affects you more deeply than a victory over Which pass easily. Everything is in the balance, someone wins, another loses, how do you move on? Don't say you're taking a break 😏

The bad mood comes from losing my Playmoney chips in my case. As we only get them every 4 o'clock, it prevents me from playing.

Yes, you need to help your colleagues fight a bad mood, just try not to dwell too much on defeats and bad luck because today you are unlucky another time you need to continue learning to train and learn because this is poker every day you can improve your game and cheer yourself up to win tournaments in the future

Poker is a game of 100% patience, you can't despair because you don't pay 3h 4h and a direct flop came out! It happened to me recently on a phone App that I dubbed and called me! It bothered me to get out of the tournament, but who cares if it bothers me!

I find that mood in poker is like mood in any thing else. You choose to be in a certain mood. You choose to let it effect you going forward. It’s ok to be displeased with the outcome of any event, but choosing how long that lingers or how much it effects your performance is up to you. Try this… “if it’s not going to matter in 5 years, it’s not going to matter in 5 minutes.” Perspective is key.

I understand, really after a few hours in a tournament, and losing good hands, patience will start to fail, you have to have a good mental preparation for long hours of play.

If I'm in a bad mood, I don't even start the game. There is no point in playing when you are in a bad mood or when you feel bad because most likely you will only get losses and disappointment.

Hello, the thing is that no one forces us to continue the game if we don't feel ok, or if you don't feel like it you keep changing the game by choosing something other than what you usually play and you disconnect from the bad state before

Hello brother @A kiravio
Look, I think that if you are in a bad mood, or if you are in a bad mood followed by situations that happen in poker, you should simply leave the activity and dedicate yourself to something else.
You must understand that in an MTT a move that can leave you in 1st place can become a badbeat that takes you out of the MTT.
If you played it wrong, the mistake was yours and you should analyze it for a future event.
If you played it well and luck didn't help you, calm down, next time it will help you.
There are many ultra-negative people in this game, they transfer all the negativity of their lives to the game and they persecute themselves with the fact that they always have bad luck.
And it may be so, if you think negative all day, the energy will always be against you.
There are other things that put me in a bad mood, but these are from life itself. The lack of empathy, always taking advantage of others, selfishness, betrayal, that your own relatives are not even family but demon-possessed strangers, and many other things. That causes me a lot of bad mood and anger.
It made me very angry that my dog Jonas has gone 20 days ago to the heavens of the Lord when he was very young. I can't find an explanation for it, and well I'm happy that he's in a better place.
I was very upset that my wife contracted Parkinson's disease 18 years ago. I was very satisfied and happy the day that with a marvelous surgery she returned to being almost the woman she always was. But in that period I was very angry that her mother and siblings were not able to help us in the slightest, on the contrary it was as if they did not like that their daughter or sister got better from that terrible disease. This makes me very upset.
But this never transferred to poker. When I sit at a table I am an Iceberg, the bullet train can pass me at 500 km per hour next to me, and I swear I don't move a hair.
Maybe it happens to me like actors who are very good people, and they love to star in movies as bad people hahahaha
Since they don't know what evil is, in their roles they do it to feel what it is, well the same thing happens to me there.
Very good your story brother
A hug Carlos:):):):):)

If you say so then it's ok.;)(y)

But I wonder, why waste time playing with play money, with so many freerolls going around, with the opportunity to win real money, without investing anything.🤷‍♂️🤔

The only time i am not in a bad mood is when i am playing well and my strong hands are holding up .Sadly , in MTTs ,both of those things rarely happen at the same time !
