I do not think I have to stop playing to get through the bad phase, it happens to everyone, I'm going through it now and I do not give up because, I know I'll be well again soon.

Fale jfo fla!!!
I think the most important property that a player has it is his own mind, to continue playing during that bad phase, it's a waste of money, because your mind is not in a better setting. Work your mental stability then come back with the best of you. I recommend meditation videos on youtube. You have never to play with the badbeats weight on your shoulders, relax and go to fun huntting fishes.

There is no such thing as bad phase... probabilities don't change. What changes is your state of mind. So bad phase actually means you are in a bad state of mind and not making the right decisions. Everyone suffers bad beats now and then. It's up to you to accept them as part of the game.

I would act on the contrary, that is, - STOP playing.

Not that I say you couldnt control your tilt necessarily, but simply let that time period out. THat could mean a day, 2 days or even more, depending on your feeling.

Superstitious? I am talking from experience - playing those bad phases has never ended up good.

I think we all go through bad times when we are playing poker, what we should do is find a way to minimize expenses and maximize winnings, so when they do bad, they do not end up with our bankroll

I also have a bad phase when it starts, it's best to play on small stakes or freerolls and not play for money, and when you see that the card is OK, you can play normal games and tournaments, the bad phase will pass and everything will be fine, I have So constantly

What to do when such a bad phase come when you're one the Live poker tournament? When you see how your opponents increase their stacks but your hole cards particularly and hands in common are too bad to try to oppose.
Every time when you have AK, AQ pre-flop, there are numbers on the flop and vise versa. How to deal with such bad beats when you realize that you've already paid buy-in money and there is no way back?

I find that I'm running bad in HE cash, then I'll play tournaments. If that don't work then I'll play Omaha.

Maybe all the same, do not play in a bad period. Why play and lose something if you know in advance that you will lose.

Always try to recognise and appreciate when YOU dish out a bad beat. In that way, when you receive a bad beat it won't feel so bad because you understand that the wheel turns!
