A good tip would be to play with a lot of concentration, that means you shouldn't have stress, you shouldn't worry, just focus on the game.

"Think long term in poker"
People who are just starting to play often think that the game of poker is a game of luck, but in fact it is not. Poker, the essence of the game, is all about skill, but of course, in the long run.

People will play (and are allowed to play) the hands they want to - dont point out their mistakes - just avoid the bad ones and make money off the rest

Don’t bet more than you can afford to lose, be very patient when playing in the sense that you shouldn’t feel like you have to play certain hands because the chip leader is way ahead or you’re low on chips just relax and strike when the time is right (there is no need to play each hand like it’s your last just for the sake of trying to gain chips) being patient is vital and will pay off, I’ve seen in some games with a 5k starting stack someone went as low as 500 chips and then they timed things right and within three hands they have over 10k chips it was an incredible come back and I’ve seen similar things numerous times, from time to time you will get bad beats but being patient will pay off long term, besides all that the most important thing is to have fun, if it’s no longer fun take a break

Bad beats happen many times even if you continue to play poker, so don't let simple game odds spoil your fun.

The best poker advice is to practice good bankroll management, constantly improve your skills, and stay disciplined and focused during gameplay.

I think that the main advice is patience and the ability to think on a cool head. Don't fall into tilt

If you can’t spot a fish in your table probably you’re the one …

Ok, I want everyone to put down what the best poker advice they have ever received. You can put the situation, or just a sentence, I think this would be a good learning thread also
To play in position versus weaker opponents.

if you dont know who the fish is, then you are the fish.
This is from the movie “Rounders” of 1998. This phrase is a good advice, but the movie is a horrible example of how to play poker.
The main character played by Matt Damon uses his $ 30 grand that was committed to pay his college tuition and decides to go for a non regulated poker club and loses everything he had! Yeah, he’s got coolered by the character played by John Malkovich, and he got a full-house...
Is there a worst example than this one? Risking everything you have and letting the money of your bills aside to gamble?

Poker loves the patient! Winning a bankroll is not as pleasing as the grief of losing it. That 's what you have to think about .

detach and eliminate emotions or bad beats will negatively impact your decisions - and you must make your best decision every time.

Tight but aggressive when in hands and focus & concentrate on showdowns when not in hands cos you can learn so much about your opponents there!

Play always Responsibly play just money you can afford to loose without impacting your life or your family member life 😀
