Bet sizing to leave player with a chip and a chair!!!

Usually when I have a strong hand and I think I'm going to win I make my raise just enough to leave the player with one chip left. Then, when I win, in the chat box I write "Chip and a chair!" Ha ha. I've never seen anyone else do this but me. It's my trademark signature move. Also, it is a tell that I think I've got a good chance of winning.

I don't think you are the only one that does this. I have seen other people do this move in tourn's too,unless it was you at the table.

Your move might be gaining popularity.

I've been doing this for 13 years now, I'ts more of a humor being an ass type of bet, I only do it in freerolls though.

What player would call your raise & not throw another dollar in the pot to call all in with?If you had 999 chips & I had 1,000 would be the only way that it would happen.So the only way it could happen would you being lower chip stack from the start of the hand.

I do this from time to time and people actually do call. Its fun to do flips with them after for there last chip. I get to see the cards play out and if they win we get to flip again.:beer:

How funny (and very improbable) would that be if the guy with a chip & a chair ended up turning around and making an unsually rare comeback.
