Hi,

If you ever asked yourself how to build bankroll from nothing, and become successful poker player with CardsChat, you're on right place.
Read along, and add your comments.
This guide (kind of) is meant to be for new players, with some or very little poker knowledge.
Everyone have to start from somewhere and somehow.
Everybody was newb once in life and now you're on right place to learn with from all of us, even pro's that we have here on CardsChat.

The reason I am showing you Strategie and 30 day poker school first, you need to learn how to walk before you run, right.
After you finish with this course, you will have solid knowledge of poker and tactics.

Now, 1st things 1st.
If you just sign in with CardsChat, do yourself a favor and read Welcome msg, where is explained how and where to find your first tournament.
2nd, try to be pro-active in our forum, will help you in log run.
Use search in forum to your advantage, and re-search for anything, it's probably answered many many times here, so you can just read and learn.

If you're new, I will show you few links which you can find very useful and make yourself better poker player.
How??
Easy.
We have on top of every page link with Strategie and then use 30 Day Poker Scholl, written by our Poker Pro authors Collin Moshman and Katie Dozier.

1656230242341

After you finish it, you will be on really good start.

Now, if you enjoy it, you can start playing our CardsChat freerolls, and steb by step build your bankroll.
In that course, you can also learn about BRM (Bankroll management), which is really important part on your journey to become winning poker player.

Where are you going to find those freerolls??
Easy, like I mentioned at the beginning, read your Welcome msg when you signed in.
Easy, ha.

I highly suggest to read in New Members Corner, where you can introduce yourself, and find quite a few good links in Sticky (those links on top)
1656230887282

Then when you're done reading those: (click on each of those links underneath)
Bankroll Builder for new member
Where are the pw's?
How to use CC Tutorials & FAQ?
Welcome to new member corner

Then, when you advance with your post's and if you're on your way to become Platinum player, then you can play all of our daily games and start building your bankroll.

On a side note about our memberships, we have 3 lvls of membership:
We have three different levels of password access for our forum members depending on their activity and quality posting on the forum.

  • Bronze Level (All Members)
  • Silver Level (Active members w/25+ quality posts)
  • Platinum Level (Freeroll Club)
How do I qualify for Silver Level and Platinum Level Freeroll Club games?
Read here for information:
CardsChat Silver Level & Platinum Freeroll Club Password Access Requirements

I will share few more links where is also better explained with screenshots :
How to find pw's for each level

When you start building your bankroll, you may read some of the links written by @jordanbillie:
$0-$10K achieved
His next step is build his bankroll to $100.000
$15K-$100.000 challenge
and in same section for poker goals and wins, you can find so many inspiring stories, and what our CardsChat members already achieved.
Building their bankroll from $0 to ....

In the same section, you can open and start your own thread, where you can track your achievements, where you can discuss your game and tactics, and get tips from more experienced players to help you become better player.

You may find it useful.

I hope this will help someone new here.

Hi @dino,

Thank you for this fantastic guide. I'm sure the attentive reader will find it very helpful.

I just recently finished the 30 days poker school and can confirm it's very helpful to boost up your knowledge.

And just one more comment:
An additional method to boost your bankroll are also additional events being held at CardsChat where you can win some cash prizes.

Such as:
- VIP games: https://www.cardschat.com/forum/cardschat-vip-program-66/month-150-vip-game-june-2022-505312/unread
- additional events for special occasions: e.g.

So my suggestion to all new and interested members is:
If you want to make the best experience from the forum, invest some time here and you'll most likely benefit from it. ;)

Great guide @dino !

I also would like to add a key that helped me unlock my poker game: QUESTIONS

Seriously, new players should ask lots of questions and they should seek out the advice from successful players.

See, only 15% of players make money but 100% like to give advice. The trick is taking the the right advice. ;)

The way to accomplish this is by getting into the habit of asking questions (out loud and to yourself) and also using sharkscope or a tracking software to start understanding who knows how to play and who is just ... blowing smoke. LOL! 🤑

Great post, thanks for your work! I think that it will be very useful for novice players, but not for everyone, some without even reading it, simply ask to give them $50.:)

I think this type of guide is very important, it helps a lot who is starting their journey in Cardschat. Too bad that many beginners are too lazy to read and are asking about passwords or other issues, when everything is explained in the many existing topics, just read.
About the poker course that Cardschat offers for free and that must be very good, I just didn't do it, because I bump into the language and the subtitles on Youtube are to be desired.:)(y)

I totally agree Dino.

CC, in addition to being the best community, is the fastest way to build a Bankroll without having to deposit.

Great tip.

Just keep in mind, that almost all of the poker clients require you to make deposit and play it through before you can withdraw some winnings.
