Friends, I've always wondered who are the best players, cash game players or tournament players? Who can adapt better, the player who goes from tournaments to cash game or the one who goes from cash game to tournaments? What do you think?

I think that a good tournament player can easily adapt to the CACHE..Since kesh is much more stable and there you play more tight and take less risks. In tournaments, the player gets a huge experience of playing against different players and he sees the course of the hand and the range more clearly:jd4::jd4:

I like both games, but I have a little more luck in cash games.

The same is true if you ask who adapts better to another game - a footballer who switched to hockey or a hockey player in football? There are many variables, a lot will depend on the motivation to develop in the game and what base is already there, what limits were played, etc. Cash player is better in the early stages when the stacks are deep, and the tournament player has a better understanding of push-fold and icm-stage. Something like this...

In my opinian is not such a big difference. In both you must play a good poker. I think in tournaments bluff is more often because of amount of chips. In cash games blind are same how long u play, are not growing.

I've heard that cash players are much stronger in tournaments than tournament players. I have several friends who play cash games and at least one of them is very strong in theory and I learn a lot from him. I'm a tournament player and I don't know much about the theory of poker, mostly just about the theory of poker in tournaments. Therefore, I am sure that the cash player is stronger in tournaments due to more played hands and more study of theory. But tournament players have a certain amount of experience in tournaments and more patience.
But for example, in a cash game, I play weaker than any experienced cash player.

I wonder who earns more, cash or tournament players? As for me, you can earn more from tournaments.
Check the internet to see which players have earned the most money. Cash players will be in the top

I think that the tournament players are better suited, because they have two more qualities:
1 - they adapt the game according to the stack size
2 - they have to change the style of play at each different stage of the tournament.

Interesting.

It would be a good social experiment, facing both types of players in both game modes.

hello

good question big dilemma !! I think tournament players are more players !! because they have to circumvent many facets of the game and make more favorable decisions to reach the objectives ... instead the cash player sits at the table, plays with the money that comes in, leaves when he wants from the table, obviously he makes gambling decisions but the blinds do not raise they wait for a good hand most of the time to play there is no need to speculate as much as in tournaments
