Cash or tournaments? Which do you prefer?

For me it’s easy, both are fine, but it depends on the mood. If you want play just for see result, just fast poker and instant reward then cash games, when you feel that you just want to play and you not seek for fast spontan Winn. Then tournaments.
Anyone else feel same way?

Back in the day, cash games were always the reason I lost most of my bankroll. Stubborn as I am, I figured that if I hang on in there for long enough, I could eventually break even or maybe even generate a little bit of profit ...
Ha ha, nope. Never happened.
That's why I exclusively play MTTs or SnGs nowadays.

with cash games huge risk you may think you have a good hand and lose alot by the river and opponent wins. Where as tourney you risk little but can win alot.

i prefer cash games by far . especially in real life poker

the blinds dont eat your stack making you force to push all in at some point even when you are card dead the whole time ,

you instantly get cash when you win a hand while in a tournament you can play great the whole time and then boom with one hand you are out of the tournament without making it to the money and all your good play has no reward and you "wasted" your time

you can play whenever you want and dont have to register on time , and you can leave whenever you want

i don't play cash but i prefer tournaments with less than 1 k players, it.s realy hard to play 5k players and above and get profit

For me, I usually stick to tournaments, over cash games.

A number of years ago, I played quite a few cash games, but pretty well abandoned it. Not because I was a lousy player, it's because I would be a good player for many hands, and after playing for a couple of hours,a lousy player for one hand.

If I can last that long tournaments, I'm usually in the money, and can't blow it by being stupid.

I probably do 80% tournaments / 20% Cash Games.

And when I do play cash games I usually sit out if I can get up 50% of my buy in or a 100 hands. Whichever comes first.

I like both. Tournaments are a great challenge to keep your focus for a longer period of time and to play good poker. Of course a certain amount of luck helps. Cash games allow you to be more flexible and to play directly for money.
