If this behavior was acceptable then Mark Seif should of Went Off on "The Ice Man" Chuck Liddell last year at the WSOP when he called a Reraise with 6 2 offsuit and caught Two Pair.

There really is no point getting involved in chat for this.

Jump up shout and scream at the monitor to vent your frustration if you need to, but stay away from the keyboard, because it can have no useful purpose.

I know a guy personally (online) who will purposely talk bad to other players in hopes of putting them on tilt and taking more money from them. ESPECIALLY if he lucks out and the other person loses a big hand. He will make it twice as bad, saying things like "i obviously played my hand well if I took all your money" if he gets lucky, etc. Personally, I think it's an asshole thing to do, but in a game of strategy, who knows.

I doubt anyone feels 'degraded' by any insults you hurl. If anything you degrade yourself by doing it. The ranting loon at the table is a source of amusement to me, if they get too offensive i report them. Or tell them calmly that i've sent the chatlog to admin and to make the most of their ranting because that ability won't last.

Everybody goes off everynow and then, don't worry about it and try ur best to let your emotions get the best of u. Every couple of weeks i get off and let someone have it, but is is mostly because of other things in my like going on.

Push yourself away from the keyboard! Nothing good comes from engaging in a 'chat war'. What would you say if he was sitting across from you?

Maybe we're just telling the truth - but I do realise that there are some people in this world that don't want to be told the truth...

play I've seen since the last thaw !"

at least thats what I mean......

If I'm in a tournament and get my money in with the best hand and get out drawn I simply hit the exit button and wait to see if I can improve if not then I get out and say nothing. I guess the best is to ask yourself would you say those same things if your sitting with them next to you or across from you if not then you shouldn't say it in a online room.

You feel good about degrading other players??? And then you sometimes feel bad about it???

You should feel bad every time you degrade someone......and since you realize you do it, use the brain God gave you and stop doing it!

I can handle the critiques thank you all for your input..I just asked full tilt and pokerstars to turn off my chat....once again thank you all for your comments

Nope. Means ESAD (eat shit and die). Wait, maybe that's 'nh'.

sometimes I find it helpful to just say out loud what you are thinking, no need to type it then.

Man you all have it so wrong. What is wrong with getting sucked out on? It means you are playing good poker and your opponent is not. The better you become as a player the more you will fold the worst hand and the more often you will get sucked out on with the best hand. Without players calling you with the worst hand you would never win. If I 3 bet with AA and K7o calls me. I want that every time. If I lop top set and my opponent calls my all in with a gutshot I want that. My hand is almost never going to bee 100% safe so I am going to loose with the best hand sometimes. Get used to it and just be happy that you played the hand correctly. (Well maybe correctly.)

BTW: Raising to 4 times the BB with AA and getting called by 44 and he flops a set and then you push all-in is not a bad beat. You put your money in with the worst of it, the player with 44 out played you on the flop. AA is only a pair and if you are willing to risk your whole stack on a single pair after a flop when you are not committed to the hand that’s your problem.


Just say GL or NH and know that nextime that happens you will mostlikely win it all back and then some


Also if these so called bad beets are hurting you so much then you are probably playing outside your bankroll. Which should make you ask yourself who is the donk now???

I personally don't pay attention to chat maybe turn of chat or unplug your keyboard if you can't resist type negative remarks. You are either a cry baby like Phil Helmuth or a good sports man like Daniel N.

I sure do. But seeing as how my entire table normally multitables, its pointless to say anything. Just label them as a fish and move on.
