Difference Between Women and Men Players?

this does not exist, poker is a universal game, it does not favor the man, much less the woman, but the one that dedicates and studies to reach its objectives. There are several women who play too much, as well as men, and others who are as bad as we are. Sex does not mean anything in the poker scene, and only a few women play because of the prejudice that is being broken, nowadays you see many women in the lives and online tournaments!

I believe that women play as well as the men who are worthy minority in poker, here in my town has poker house that makes freeroll tournaments that woman starts with twice as many chips as the man wants incentive better to play. and many of the freerolls are women who win, not counting the payoffs.

I do not consider myself a very aggressive player and I do not even use sixth sense at the tables, but rather, fairness and reading of players, I do not think sex interferes with the line of thought

I think that the difference is only in the skills and experience, everything else is a secondary phenomenon.

I believe there actually was a woman who wrote a book on this. While I totally agree that your play should not depend on the gender of your opponent, I actually think that for alot of players it does. Most men tend to underestimate women when it comes to their skill level or ability to bluff in poker. But for some men it actually makes them call more often since they don't want to be bluffed by a woman.

I believe that was the bottom line of the book, not sure though since I only read an interview and forgot the title. So if anyone knows the author's name or book title, I'd really like to give it a read one day!

Either can be good. Making a GROSS OVER-GENERALIZATION based on 30+ years of LIVE play. I would say a majority of women play on the tighter side. I would also say that a majority of women are willing to call down bluffs when they are in a hand and holding something decent, even when the board is scary.

Again, an over-generalization, but I have a joke with my friends (both male and female):

"Don't bluff a woman. They have been lied to way too many times by way too many men and they know instinctively that you are full of sh!t"

I know a few talented female players who are able to use table image to their advantage and can play aggressively quite effectively, as well.

I take it on an individual basis, but within 10 minutes at a tournament table I can generally identify stereotypes.

I think that it is a matter of wanting to play, improve, and learn new things. I do not think that it plays a big role here, who are you, man or woman. If only some biological aspects, but this is poker, then you need to work with your head, not with the genitals.

There is absolutely no difference who I play against, against a man or a woman. For me, all opponents are individual, and I play against each differently.
The number of women in the game is less than men, perhaps, therefore, we believe that the game of women is more aggressive or more folding.

I always assume a woman is a good player unless she does something to make me think otherwise. Women are less likely to play so when they do I think they are probably pretty good. Why would a woman be playing if she wasn't pretty good? Men have a lot of reasons to hang around the poker tables. Maybe their friends are playing and they like to chat with the waitresses

I dont think there is much difference between male and female players, especially in online games. Its all mental, all physical advantage of a male specie is negated.
In live games, women i think has a better advantage, because they can distract male players better. hehehe
