Discipline or Knowledge.

Which is the most important to you?
For me in general, knowledge is more important, obviously than discipline too.
Also, poker is about advancing, improving your game, reading, etc. Applied knowledge and adaptation are the key to triumph! To all this includes time and patience.

Consistency is the path to success, followed by discipline. And of course, if you perform the same action for a long period of time, you will definitely reach a high level.

I feel there’s a few key things that equally need to be implemented for success including the 2 you’ve mentioned. These for me are, in no particular order:

Knowledge, patience, will, self motivation, discipline and practice

A few others, but more personal: keep my ego in check, don’t take it personally but still be competitive, if that makes sense lol

It does not seem to me that these proposals to play poker are in conflict with each other, on the contrary, it seems to me that both feed on each other. One is disciplined when one has good knowledge and one obtains knowledge when one is disciplined. Lack of control and ignorance are terms that go against each other.

Discipline and patience are two necessary components thanks to which you can improve your skills, acquire new knowledge and gain experience. New knowledge will not be an advantage if you do not have patience and discipline.

Complex.
Knowledge without discipline gets you nowhere, and the same the other way around.

So we can say that they complement each other.
