Do you listen to music while playing poker? and if so, what music do you prefer to listen to?

By the way, I don't listen because I want to concentrate.

Most poker players prefer high-energy and uplifting music with minimal vocals to accompany their game. like house music to improve concentration and performance
for me most of times i play with out listening to music and some times i listen to classical music especially Mozart and Beethoven

I do barely anything without music, I'm just way more productive with something rumbling in the background, so yea same goes for playing poker. Can't really play without music.

My opinion is that it suits, but there are people who prefer to concentrate as much as possible, and for them, sometimes the music gets in the way. I listen to a lot of electronic music while playing poker.

Hi, shokoba! Sometimes I listen to different music during play in Poker, if this is helping... But in basically, I try to concentrate only on a Game too!

Generally, I do not think they are a great match.

I think music may cause an emotional response, when you want to remain even keeled.

When playing live I think its harder to pick up on any conversations if you got the tunes cranked.

If it's only about poker online than YES, as like for many poker players music(especially high-energy music) helps me concentrate and overall improves my performance during my sessions... I don't know if this can apply to newer players to the game too but for the ones that pretty much know what they should do in many different situations- I think music or something else(like Twitch) can help a lot to keep your focus and play your A game for longer periods of time...

I think music doesn't stop me from playing poker. What I can’t say about watching a movie in parallel with the game, here I’m distracted from the plot, or I make mistakes in the game. But I rarely listen to music while playing lately, I just have such a job that I can listen to music during the day, and at home I take a break from it.

me too, but i listen, watch yt, write posts, speak with family..day is too short - it should have at least 48 hours.
