Do you believe in continuous good luck or bad luck runs in poker?

I’ve definitely had sessions where everything seems to go my way, but I try to treat it as variance rather than assume the streak will continue.

I definitely believe that downswings and upswings are real, but it's just pure mathematics and variance at work. When you're on a bad run, it feels like it will never end, but the key is to stay disciplined and keep making the right decisions. It always evens out in the long run!

One person's good fortune is another's bad luck.
A player often gauges whether someone is lucky or unlucky based on the statistical probability of a hand winning.
The lower the probability, the luckier the player—and vice versa. Yet, from a mathematical standpoint, it is not impossible!
It is a purely subjective feeling.

I believe poker can definitely have long good or bad runs, but I don't think luck stays with you forever. Over a large sample, skill and good decisions matter much more than short-term luck.
