Do You Consider Poker a Passion, Job or Hobby?

For me, poker is a passion and a hobby. I would love to be great enough to compete professionally in a poker sports league. I consider the game to be a sport at this point. Yes, there is luck involved and all of that but also Skill is very much a part of the game. Just like any other game/sport, you have to practice your skills and you may be great but luck is still involved there too.

I play poker as a hobby and just enjoy the fun Sometimes nice to irritate a few but evryone does that once in a while

There is no doubt that there is a lot of luck in poker, however, there is also a large element of skill involved. The more you play the more you will realize this.

I consider it first of all a passion, I think it is necessary to love what you do to do it well and understand what you need to do for the better.

If you were a hobby you would assume losses as normal in situations where you often made technical mistakes. But I've considered poker that way for a long time.

Nowadays I try to be profitable, I think that professionalism comes with time of practice and in-depth studies.

Poker

I think for a lot of people in general it's just a hobby they just enjoy playing. But for others it's more of a passion, they not only play but spend time studying and trying to improve (I think I'm in this category).

I think for poker to be your job it needs to be one of your main sources of income which requires a lot of handwork and dedication to the craft!

I think It's passion or hobby for most players. Only for few players is a job and thay can live from playing poker. I belong for this first ones but it's my dream to become proffesional poker player.

All the above. I learn it, I play it, I love it, I hate it, I day dream about it. I look forward to it. I get $ for it. If you love what you do for work, your not working. your doing what brings you some sort of mental release and relaxation. Hobbie/passion/ bills paid gl everyone and as always have fun
