I do not think things like poker and alcohol should be combined. Of course it is fun, but it can lead to significant losses. If you are a disciplined player and trying to play the right poker then alcohol is not for you.

Yes often a cold beer. And sometimes this also goes wrong because i no longer have concentration. That's why i often drink with freerolls and small cash games.

This is generally a bad idea and also a habit of drinking hard liquor while playing. Even playing live with a drunk player is a problem. I also admit that you can drink low-alcohol beer or other low-alcohol drink.

I don't drink alcohol when I play, I rarely drink a flavored beer. I think if someone drinks a lot while playing then they can't make good decisions, alcohol can greatly affect thinking.

Alcohol ****s with my judgment when playing poker,I prefer coffee or a cold lemonade and lots of water, plus a tiny sativa cannabis joint just to make me more focused.

I’m the same as you. Sometimes I drink beer when playing poker. A higher alcohol is not suitable.

No, I don't like drinking alcohol while playing. I think it would be dangerous, but if it works for someone, keep doing it. A Finnish player did it to the point of getting drunk and lost hundreds of thousands of $

Yep I do, feels more fun at times, and more confidence for some aggressive plays lol, but after while it becomes overconfidence and recklessness, so not advisable for serious play I think.

Drink

While playing live with friends or at the casino I do have a drink or two. Not so many that my thought process is blurred more just a couple. While at home playing online seldom have a drink while playing.

Favorite drink is Brandy== as the say candy is dandy but brandy is quicker LOL

I dont drink much to begin with. I hardly ever drink when I am playing online. that is kind of like drinking by yourself , which is sad. Live, sometimes I will have a scotch, to take down the tension in a tough game, during the break, or if I had a really bad beat, to relax.

Sometimes I drink alcohol and play poker, but usually it only leads to a waste of money and time. It is hard to stay patient and focused when you are drunk.

Rarely, but sometimes I drink alcohol while playing poker. It is fun, but usually the results are disappointing.

Sometimes at the weekends but from experience it's never a good idea for me. It can give the so called "balls" on occasion to make a more confident plays but in the end if you cross the line it will backfire with making a huge mistake. The point is to not cross the line, one or two beers are fine for some kind of relaxation i guess.

Love beer and enjoy Full Sail Amber. When playing poker regardless of where it is, don't drink anything but water. Made that choice a few weeks after depositing based on a article I read probably here. Was regarding mood, focus and drinking.

Stayed true to that with no regrets. Have enough time for both, just not at the same time.
