On weekends, I never deny myself a couple of glasses of champagne or white wine with a delicious seafood dinner.
Often this happens just during a major tournament.
When playing very tight, I often don't have the courage to bluff or defend an ambiguous hand. Light alcohol makes me bolder and more lively in my decisions.
Having completely degraded after a glass of champagne, today I took a shameful 15th place in the 530$ Bounty Builder High Roller, which I entered successively from the daily freebuy through 5.50$ and 55$ satellites.. 😎
And also, having taken away a couple of bounties from my neighbors at the table, I cashed to the heap in the 109$ Sunday Special.
So champagne or wine is a definite evil during the game... for my opponents. 🤣
